As Russia devolved into civil war, Kuwait and Israel rose up with the help of the International Allied Forces or IAF to assist with liberating the Middle East. The IAF 's headquarters in Cyprus would allow them to continue assisting Israel and Kuwait's war for independence.
Many small groups rose up but none were as big as the Israeli and Kuwaiti resistance groups. The Xeno forces killed and raped thousands of people in retaliation, announcing that "A great reckoning was coming." So says the Prime Minister of Charon.
On the second week of the revolution EU and American troops entered Kuwait. In response Charon began to burn the oil fields enveloping the region in a black and red haze, looking similar to hell on earth. The intense desert fighting killed many has the hostile terrain, wild life, and Xeno forces mixed for a chaotic and terrifying theater of war.
Kuwait was destroyed by the house to house fighting and air strikes. Charon's Dreadnoughts orbitally bombarded the city, killing thousands and injuring millions. The civilians were discarded by Charon and ignored by Coalition forces to liberate the region. This would cause the largest civilian casualties of the entire Terran Revolutionary Wars. Helicopters and Charon interceptors regularly patrolled the skies and many songs became popular during this time period, some of which was popular during the Gulf War.

Kuwait was liberated on July 4th 2135 and attention then turned to Israel and Gaza. The Strip and Jerusalem were the sites of the hardest fighting as Charon knew the importance of these sites to the Coalition both religiously and strategically. A naval invasion was held on the 31st once Kuwait troops got to Cyprus. At 6:00 AM local time the invasion began with a bombardment of the coastal defenses before sending out naval landing craft and paratroopers in planes. At 7:00 the first wave hit the beach and it was a bloodbath. The Coalition massively underestimated the defenses on the beach, causing thousands of dead within the first hour. Many compared the invasion to Normandy. In retaliation for the landing Charon launched a counter offensive into Kuwait and burned Saudi Arabia, bathing it in a mix of blood and metal as Charon had no mercy against the citizens of the regions. At 8:00 the invasion was cancelled due to Kuwait coming under bombardment from Charon forces. The invasion was considered a failure by all involved and millions died in the two hours the invasion was fought. The oil fields across the entire middle east were burned, enveloping the continent in a red and black smoke. The Coalition officially withdrew from Gaza and Israel two days later on the Second of August 2135. Kuwait would be a major fighting point for the entire region.
