The European Union began to fight back against Curroum, successfully at first too, liberating Ireland, Germany, Switzerland,Czech Republic, Austria, and more. The EU began being pushed back in August 2120. They were pushed back to Dublin in Ireland, Warsaw in Eastern Europe and Munich in Western Europe. Fall was arriving and cold winds swept through the lands. Both sides dug in as winter was coming.
The Fall was cold and miserable for the troops on both sides as they waited it out. The humans dug in, celebrating Thanksgiving and Halloween, while the Curroum Defense Army celebrated their own holiday, Shallah. Shallah is a holiday celebrating family that lasts 2 days. It is filled with singing, gift giving, and is like Christmas. Then December came. The Humans celebrated Christmas under constant bombardment as the CDF froze.
When January came around so did the January Offensive as the EU began their offensives to take back Dublin, Brussels, Warsaw, and Munich. The offensive began as German and Belgian troops pushed towards Munich and Brussels, liberating Brussels while besieging Munich. Troops from their countries pushed to take back land that was taken from them so long ago.
The offensive stalled once again in April as spring rolled around. With renewed morale and focus, they launched their Spring Offensive. Their objective was to take all of Europe, liberating it.
10 years later the continent was free once again, uniting into the European Union, a name from long before and their old alliance name. They began exporting their troops to countries wanting to gain freedom from their own oppressors.
The United States of America was liberated 3 days before Europe. It was also revealed that the once thought United Xeno Coalition was actually fractured and infighting, letting the USA and EU gain ground.
