From behind an asteroid a Terran battleship takes shape, ready to pounce on the unsuspecting Rechnung Dreadnaught. The silentness of space is interrupted as Laser canons fire upon the Dreadnaught. The Terran commander looked up on the destruction with a cold and calculating face. Meanwhile all hell broke lose upon the Dreadnaught as soldiers hurried to their stations and Crew members hurried to repair the damage. The Dreadnaught began to fire back, hitting an asteroid and shattering it, the debris hitting both the Dreadnaught and the Battleship. The Battleship opened its guns again, this time aiming to destroy their Dreadnaught. The mighty booms from the Laser cannons shook the Battleship as they hit the enemy Dreadnaught. The middle of the Dreadnaught exploded into a ball of fire and molten metal. The crew members of the Dreadnaught being flung out into the vacuum of space. The Rechnung Dreadnaught had encountered the Terran Battleship, nicknamed the "Blackest Night" because of how dark the metal that made up the ship was. The Battleship was feared across the galaxy and was also named the Crown Jewel of the Terran Navy.

~Two Months Later~

Space was an enigma. Space travel was an enigma. Rechnung command wished to expand and conquer more nations for their ever expanding demand for Slaves. But one thing was stopping Rechnung from achieving this goal. "The Blackest Night." Or how Rechnung named it, "Death." This Battleship, made from the finest metals on Corvan, kept bombarding Rechnung Defenses. When they aren't bombarding cities they are destroying Rechnung Navy vessels. The finest general of the Rechnung Navy, Sir Wilfred Von Klewitz, who was born from a Hildani Mother and Human Father, was assigned to the Rechnung Dreadnaught 241, nicknamed "Emperors Sword" because of it's long history of serving the Rechnung Navy. One thing was clear as soon as he was assigned the Dreadnaught. He was supposed to destroy "Death."

~2 weeks later~

He stood on the Dreadnaught s hard metal floor and looked out the massive windows of the Bridge. Space was quiet, yes, but this was a deadly silence. Only one thing was as silent as Father Space himself. "Turn Starboard side!" He yelled as the first Terran torpedo slammed into the hull with such force and velocity it sent him stumbling back. "Ready Plasma Weapons!" He screamed at the top of his lungs in order to be heard over the blaring alarms and panicked shouts of the crew. There, on the right, he saw it. The Terran Battleship, Death. "On the right! Fire plasma cannons!" He said to the Weapons Comissar, who repeated his orders into the microphone. Two torpedos shot out of a canon, aimed towards "Death." One hit while the other was dodged by the vessel. A slight smirk snuck onto the face of the General. 'so death can be killed' he thought to himself. Meanwhile on the Terran vessel the Terran Admiral had a stone cold face, though his eyes were panicking. "Begin charging the Plasma Cannons." The Rechnung General ordered. A few minutes later 2 more torpedos slammed into the hull of the "Emperors Sword" and the general stumbled back, this time there was no smirk upon his face, it was only rage.

One thing to note of General Klewitz was he was not a Navy General, he was an Army General, which meant he did not know how to use the Emperor's Sword to its full potential. Something which the Terran Admiral took note of. You see, because they were made for space, they were more maneuverable and agile than the Battleships of old. The Admiral knew this and was trained into the Navy by the time he was 18, he knew how to use the ship's maneuverability to his advantage. To give Klewitz some credit, he was pretty good at ordering the Emperor's Sword, and the Hildani had only discovered space travel two years ago with the help of Terran traitors.

Klewitz paced back and forth. "Death" had escaped their grasp once again, and now he was inching back to Rechnung with a half destroyed ship and a quarter of his crew members dead. He was confused. Not about the Battle of about Death, but about why he, a general in the Army, was selected to be in command of the most important vessel in the Rechnung Navy. He wanted revenge. He wanted to see "Death" be broken and twisted as it's crew members float lifelessly in space. He wanted to be the one to destroy the Pride of the Terran Navy. He wanted to destroy this wild beast made of steel. He wanted glory. He wanted to prove those who made fun of him wrong. He did not want to be called the Bastard General any longer. He hated that name with a passion, a name given to him by bullies that stuck with him, traveling with him like a curse, all the way to the Navy.

~ One Year Later~

This was it. Rechnung was on the verge of defeat by Terra and if He wanted to destroy Death, this was his last chance. He was supplied with the strongest vessels. His flagship, The Emperor's Sword, was his favorite, but he was accompanied by two other ships. The first one, on his right, was the ship known as "Glory." On his left was the "Emperor's Crown." Supplied with the strongest ships in the Navy he was confident in his ability to destroy Death. The silentness of Space was strong once again. He watched the asteroid belt carefully as he and his fleet glided smoothly through the belt. One flash of light and panic on the radio later he knew that they had come into contact with Death. " Fire!" He shouted as a torpedo slammed into Glory. Two torpedoes were fired from Crown and Sword, 1 hitting, 3 missing. Just like last time. Klewitz thought as he looked at Death incarnate, a pink ball glowing from its canon. "Get down!" He yelled at the bridge exploded, debris and shrapnel going everywhere. He scrambled to put his oxygen mask on and grabbed onto a pipe as things began to get sucked out into the vacuum of Father Space. Though Space was so interesting it was also very deadly, to both Humans and Hildani alike. He scrambled into the hall and shut the blast doors, allowing him to take off his mask. He grabbed the micro phone and screamed "Fire!" Into the mic. A ball of fire exploded next to him and he was flung into space. He grabbed his mask, panicking once he breathed and got nothing. He looked at the battle raging on as Death continued to map up the remaining resistance. As his vision blurred and got darker Crown and Glory exploded into balls of flame.
