Responsibility
We left class and made our way to the front of the school. Nora stood outside by the fountain waiting for us.
"Well how was werewolf class my fellow musicians?" Nora asked.
"I think I am in love with werewolf history I mean the story of the king werewolf I swear that was a story I don't think I will ever forget. The cruel witch mother and the server boy who became a king all because he would not kill now that's irony. Most kings become kings because they killed someone but not this one." Sam stated.
"You liked that story god I think I will have nightmare about it for the rest of my life there was no way for the foot servant to win either way he was screwed. I mean Seraphina how do you feel?" Morgan stated a grimace on her face.
"Both of you must realize I am a witch I know what my people have done, and I know what they can do. I know they have cursed people for looking at them the wrong way and I know they have started plagues to get rid of one person. The werewolf king curse was one of the most unnecessary curses in our history and yet the most complex with the curse it could never be undone most curses have a loophole this one was imbedded into DNA, and no one has ever been able to break something like that." I said.
"Yeah, no I just can't just except that there has to be a reason behind everything." Morgan stated.
"Unfortunately, little butterfly for us supernatural's there's not we do what we want when we want with great power comes the free will to cause great destruction to others or the world." Nora stated swinging her arm around me as we walked down the street.
"I do have to agree with Nora. Lucky for the world supernatural's then began to realize we could not do what ever we wanted if we wanted to be accepted by society. So, we keep massive fights contained between the supernatural's and have rules to protect the mundane from any extreme harm." I stated with a forced smile on my face. Supernatural order can be bizarre.
"Hhhh I just don't get it!" Morgan spoke.
"Morgan there are some things you just can't explain witches curse people, werewolves turn every full moon at some point you just have to except it all." Sam stated swinging her arm over Morgans shoulder.
Morgan let out a large sigh and Sam, Nora and I left out a burst of laughter.
We made our way to my house we walked into the house and then all flopped onto the couch. Sam flipped on the Tv to some cop show. Morgan grabbed a book from her bag and started reading. Nora got out her laptop and started typing away on some long document I couldn't really read. I reached into my bag and started writing a lyric down for a song. I had a great idea for a song idea got some inspiration from class today.
-In the kingdom of shadows, where the wild things prowl, the king werewolf regions, Beneath the midnight cowl. His heart was a fortress, built of ice and stone, until he saw her, and his heart was overthrown. She wandered through the forest, with eyes so bright, A girl like a whisper, in the still of the night. Her laughter like a melody, soft and sweet, A sirens call, that made his heartbeat. Oh, the king werewolf, he found his heart, In a girl so wild, who tore his world apart. In the moons pale glow, their souls collide, A love so strong, it could never hide. –
I was not done writing when the book was snatched from my hands I look up and its Sam.
"Oh, girl what are your writing?" Sam asked as she started to read through the page I was writing.
It took her a moment then she lets out a gasp and looks at me.
"You're writing a love song about the werewolf king. Seraphina!?" Sam said looking at me confused.
