Love like no other

(9):30 am

                                          9:30

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off.

I could hear talking in the hall and I laid there trying to remember what happened the night before.

"Ky you up ? " I could hear what sounded like ja'laiyah knock on the door

"Yea"  I said wiping the drool from my face

"Get uhhhhp" Kamiyah said peeking her head inside

"Oh hi jamell" she said looking the floor

"Jamell ?!?!" I said sitting up

"Yes ma'am" he said turning to look at me

"Are you riding with them to the store" ja'laiyah asked jamell now poking her head inside the door too

"Yea I'm finna get up now" he said

His voice was deep but comforting in a way.

Kamiyah and ja'laiyah left us to get ready closing the door behind them.

"You slept onna floor?" I asked covering my lower body with a blanket

"Yea , you been acting a fool last night & I wanted to make sure you ain hurt yo self , Youne remember?" He said stretching his back and looking out the window

"Nahh I don't remember any of that ." I smiled embarrassed at what I might've done

"Happy birthday by the way" he said coming and sitting on the side of the bed.

"Thank you boo"

I pulled the covers over my lower body more because at some point in the night. I took my shorts off and was now only wearing my underwear and the shirt I had on last night.

"Jamell you in here ?" Munna asked poking his head in the door

"Yea , but dawg you ain even knock" jamell laughed

"Ion gotta knock cause  kylin know she  bet not be in here be doing nuffin grown" he said shooting me a look

Munna was my close friend but also treated me like his little sister and I liked having that. I had a older brother but he died in the cross fire of a shootout when I was 5, So munna was the closest thing I've had to having a big brother little sister bond.

"I am grown" I said rolling my eyes

"Yea right" 
"But if you riding to the store we finna leave around 10 Mell" munna said closing the door

"Alright" Jamell replied as he glanced on his phone

"You gon be ight if I go?" He asked

"Yea depending on what you mean" I said confused on what he was asking.

"Like you don't want anything , or need help or shii I don't know." He said looking at me.

"Oh yea I'll be fine" I said

"Ight just let me know if that changes"

His voice and how much he cared turned me on a bit , I can't lie. Jamell was FINE like all my exes and talking stages were a lil funny looking because I was scared a if I dated anyone fine they would cheat or leave. I learned fast that ugly Niggas cheat too.

Once jamell left the room I hopped out of bed grabbing my phone off the charger. The time was now 9:57 and I still had to get my hair done , showered , eat and whatever needed to be done. I had plenty of time to get ready but I didn't want to wait till the last minute to do it all.

I grabbed my tooth brush, loofa , bottle of soap , shower cap , speaker and a towel from the closet.
I walked into the bathroom and it was niceee. I'm talking standing glass shower, and a huge tub and everything was soo clean. I wasn't used to having this since I shared a bathroom with my mom and it was a mess due to her clothes being on the scattered along the floor wall.

I took down my puff pony tail and put my hair in two messy braids with my shower cap over it so my hair wouldn't shrink up in the humidity of the shower.
Once I was done I cleaned up any hair I saw , began getting undressed then shuffled my playlist before turning on the shower water and stepping in.

I lathered the soap on my body with my loofa and sang along to From Time by jhene aiko.
