Still Jamells pov

I finished drying off my body applied lotion and allat you know. It was around 1:40 and munna had already called and said be there by 2.

I walked into the living room/kitchen area and found ma'Kaylin sitting at the table.

"You good ma?" I asked

"Yea , thank you it helped a little" she said with a small smile.

"Fasho" I knew if I didn't keep talking to her we would've continued to sit in silence.

"You wanted sum from clothing brand right? What size are you?"
I asked taking my keys off the hook and putting on my slides

"Small" she said getting up and slipping on her crocs

"I got sum in my car , you ready ta go?"

"Yea" she said

I opened the door for her then grabbed my black zip off the back of the door hook. I didn't have a umbrella cause I didn't mind getting wet most of
The time, plus it wasn't even raining hard.

We rode the elevator back down , before we left out the lobby I handed her my jacket so she wouldn't get wet.

"The fuck am I doing?" I asked myself
I wasn't usually on this save a hoe shit but I'm out here showing my ass for a girl I don't even know. As much as I wanted to stop myself from this being nice shit I didn't even have a reason to be mean to her.

I opened the trunk and dug through the box of hoodies.
"You said small right?" I asked her

"Mhmm"

I carefully pulled out a small from the bottom of the Box and handed it to her.

"Thank you" she said then went to get in the car.

I tucked the money to the bottom of the box then closed the truck.

My phone was already connected to car play so when I got in and started the car what ever i had playing last started playing.

I put ihop in my gps and we began driving. I was gonna try and make conversation but she was facing the window with her eyes closed.

IHOP was 13 minutes away but I speed so that was really a 7 minute drive.

I pulled in next to munnas car and we got out.

"You good?" One  of her friend asked her getting out the backseat of munnas car

"Yess I'm good , my head just hurt a lil"

"You took sum?" One her other friends asked

I stopped paying attention to their conversation cause I felt my phone vibrate I stepped away from the group.

No caller id

"Bra what do you want?" I asked answering

"Aye talk to me nice" Yasmine said

"Bitch please" I said letting the word slip from  my mouth

"Why you acting like this? You know you still love
Me" she said

I did still love her but her ass did me so dirty I wanted to kill her.

"Mmm"

"You still be at munna crib?" She asked

"Whatchu askin fa? Don't nobody round me fuck witchu"

"Cause you not acting right so I'm finna come get you right" she said

"Yasmine ion fuck you then why would I fuck you now ?" I asked with a laugh

"You ain fuck me then cause you wasn't trynna do allat at munna and dat bitch place."

"Holl on , don't be calling her out her name. The fuck you being disrespectful fa?" I snapped

"Okay whatever but I can bring you to my place and we can do everything we used to talk about" she said

I couldn't think of a Response so I hung up and put my phone on dnd.

"You good bro?" Marcus asked coming up to me

"I'm straight it's just Yasmine playing on my phone"

"Bra I'm Rey shoot the bitch" Marcus said

"Shiii ion know about allat" I said stretching the end of one of my Braids

"Bra don't tell me you finna take the bitch back" Marcus said

"Hell nah not take her back but she trynna fuck"

"I thought you wasn't fuckin till you got inna relationship?" Marcus asked

"Shii you right but that don't count frl" I said

"I guess"

We joined the rest of the group inside, they already had a table assuming the empty seat next to ma'Kaylin was for me I sat next to her.
She was on her phone scrolling through Instagram.

I sat there thinking of Yasmine. She was lightskin loud and stayed in drama. She was pretty but her actions and personality made her not as attractive to me. We dated for 6 months, in the first 3 months she confessed to cheating while drunk. I was in a low point of my life and she was one of the only people I had close to me. Then I found out she fucked a few niggas from the block over and I cut the bitch off. After that I had been cool off bitches.  I opened up my Instagram making sure to turn my brightness all the way down.  making sure to switch to my alt account I typed In her name and her account popped up. I clicked through her highlights. When we were together she would post videos of her partying , barely dressed or fighting. Now all she had on her account was a pictures from her birthday and a bible verses.

She seemed like she's changed.

I unblocked her number in my phone but didn't text her.

"You sure you good ma'Kaylin?" Munna said grabbing my attention.

I glanced over at her and she had her hood on and head on the table.

"Mhmm" she said not picking up her head

I could tell sum was wrong with her and this was not gonna be a good place to throw up at.

"Cmon" said to her inna low tone

She didn't say anything just got up with me

"We gon see yall later" I said

"Alright , just make sure she okay" her friend with the braids said

We got back to my car and got in, it was raining harder now plus it was cold windy so I cut the heat on low

I wasn't sure of where we would go so I just decided on my apartment since it was closest.

We did the same as we did before.

When we got back inside we slipped our shoes off 

"You wan go lay down for a lil bit?" I asked taking off my jacket and putting it on the hook.

She nodded and I brought her to my room, normally I woulda let her sleep in the guest bedroom but my apartment is new and unfurnished.

"I pulled back the covers and she got in the bed, imma be inna living room if you need sum." I said closing the door behind me.

Ian really had shit to do so I started unboxing a couch I had ordered a week ago.
