I ordered Cajun shrimp fettuccine Alfredo with bread sticks and was almost drooling at how good it sounded.

Everyone was talking, joking , having a good time and I was soo happy to see that my birthday was coming out perfectly.

"Why you sitting here all quiet and shii whatchu thinkin bout ma?" Jamell asked me in a low tone

His voice was so deep and the seductive.

"Just admiring the environment I created" I smiled to him

I watched as his eyes look around the table.

"You did do this frl " he said nodding his head
I wasnt making eye contact with him but I could see he was looking at me.

"So tell me about you, what's yo plans and goals now?"

"Right now I'm trying to save up to move out my mom's house and into an apartment, then I wanna go to school for nursing" I answered

"You answered that with no hesitation I like that" he said nodding, turning his body to give me his full attention.

"Thank you, what about you? What's your plans and goals? " I asked him in return

"Shii well I just bought my first apartment and car off my clothing brand so prolly just saving to pay my luh brother college tuition"

"What's stopping you from going to school doe"
His oddly familiar accent was heavy when he said that

"Don't got enough saved yet , you know prices going up and everything."
I lied, With how much I got paid and how much love I've been working I could've been out but with splitting money on gas and giving it to my mom I was way over 20k short on doing it

"Shiii you could work fa me" he chuckled
I could see his low red eyes.

"For yo clothing brand?" I asked

"No se- I mean yea you could model and shii " he said looking away from me

I could hear he Cutt off and corrected himself but I couldn't tell what he was gonna say, Which pissed me off cause now imma wanna ask what he was finna say !

"Model?  I thought you was gon say sum like promoting it on TikTok and ig" I said without even thinking it through

"Nahh I want you front cover , like you onna magazine assum" he said smiling and looking over at me , he was slightly slouched in his spot so we were at eye level

I couldn't think of a reply so I just giggled.

"yall da food comingg" Jayden said and everyone looked at Alice (the waitress) and another waiter carrying several large plates of food.

While the food was being placed on the table and had everyone's attention I remembered I haven't taken any pictures of videos since I've been here so I grab my phone out my purse and power it on.

My huge plate of food was placed in front of me.
The creamy orange sauce and green and red peppers and noodles were plated on a large light  glass plate.

The table was covered in plates of food and I was ready to grub downnnn. My high was going up and I was ready to eatt !

We all began eating and talking less , you know you know .

Mid dinner I re-remember I haven't taken pictures yet and that I might get something on my dress if I don't go now , you know what I mean?

I looked around the table , Ja'laiyah was hands deep in her crab legs. Aushanti was flirting and eating with Jayden , and kamiyah was banned from taking pics.

I side eyed Jamell and thought it over for several minutes before finally caving in to asking

"Jamell"

"Mhm" he said licking his lips and looking at me

"Could you take my pictures real quick?" I asked,
He was already finished eating and waiting for another order of steak.

"Yea cmon "

We scooted our way out the booth and we began walking to the door.

"And where are you guys going?" The security guard lady asked stepping in front of the door.

"To the car?" Jamell said shrugging his shoulders

"Do you plan on paying before you leave? We don't tolerate dining and dashing " she said with a stupid smile on her face.
I scrunched up my face disgusted with how she was acting.

"Move round we goin take pictures bra" I could tell he was losing his patience.

"Outside? Wh-"

"Man bra move" he said as he grab my hand and squeezed us past her to leave.

"Her ass trippin , Ian nun to play wit" he said with a chuckle .

I didn't say anything , I didn't know what to say.

"Where you wan take em at?" He asked looking around

The sun was almost completely set but still peeking out enough to have that perfect golden hour.  There was a spot near two palm trees that displayed the beach view with the sun hitting it.

"Over there" I said pointing to the spot.

We walked over there and I could feel the security guard was lurking behind us and I was starting to get fed up.

"Do you need something?" I asked turning around and stopping dead in my tracks.

"I'm just walking outside" she said looking around

"Do YOU need something?" She said holding on to the straps of her vest , I could hear the attitude in her voice and see it in her body language.

"Don't even worry about her ma her ass trippin"
Jamell jumping at her make her flinch and take a step back

"See her scary ass ain't even bought it"
He said laughing

I looked between the both of them contemplating just going back Inside instead of dealing with this.

"Ion gon let her do nun to you ma cmon so you can get yo pictures" he said nodding me over to the spot.

I handed him my phone and positioned his arms to get the angle I liked my pictures taken at.
As nervous as I was to have him take my pictures I had to keep it composed so I could get cute pictures.

"Yo dress look good on you"

"Thank you"
I was a lover girl deep inside so it was taking me a lot to not take any of this attention and compliments to heart because it was the bare minimum but i really appreciated and craved it.
