Aiden tried his best to keep up his dignity and status of a prince and NOT run through the halls of the Palace like a street urchin, or whatever they call the poorer citizens of Altaza as in the Palace.

"Poor citizens," he thought.

Moments earlier, he had been pouring over a century-old book that he had found in his late mother's private library, a book about the magical bazaar in Altaza, which had also been named the Night Bazaar. It had been the very Bazaar where people traded dreams on strings and purchased a bottle of heartbeats with twenty long intakes of breaths......

Weird things for sure, but Aiden liked it.

But that's not important for now. The important matter at his hands was that his father, the King had called him for an urgent problem regarding the situation of the kingdom.

At first Aiden had been shocked.

No one had ever turned to him when it came to problems regarding the kingdom. He was sure it was something minor and silly. But he couldn't avoid a call from the King, even though he was his own son.

Aiden reached the vast, huge quarters in the front west wing of the Palace...and found someone waiting for him.

Noah Acharya, official title is His royal majesty, Prince Noah Acharya of Altaza,Prince of the royal Acharya family.Son of King Acharya and Queen Malini, age 23.

And also the older brother of Aiden.

"Noah?What the hell are you doing here?"asked Aiden,confused.

"Same reason as yours,then ace-cakes,"replied Noah.

Aiden cringed.

"DON'T CALL ME THAT!Only mother ca-"he stopped,feeling a lump in his throat and tears began to prick his eyes.

Noah widened his eyes and a mournful expression takes over his face.

He silently hugged his younger brother.

Aiden stepped back a little after a few minutes,"thanks..." he mumbled.

Noah just nodded.

Aiden snapped back to reality.He didn't want to be reminded of his mother,not after...

Not after her tragic death.

It was painful to know that Malini Acharya had actually been suffering from cancer for three years before he was even born.By the time people found out it was too late.The King,his father had actually had the audacity to announce publicly that Malini couldn't be saved.

The King didn't even tried to save her.

He just moved on.Annette was the second favorite wife to the King and the lady-in-waiting of Malini,so the King married her and left his mother for dead.

Tragically that's the sad truth of the wives of a King.

You don't get choices at all. If a wife is gone,another will take her place and the world would forget about the previous one.

But Annette was different.

She was a gold digger. She was a pain in the ass for the servants and soldiers in the palace. Everyone hated her.
