It's finally over, you can scream and shout
into the distance, see what life's all about!
I applaud your courage, your strength and perseverance
I admire the way you broke past the hindrance
You made a new version of yourself, a better appearance
Did I mention the courage? the bravery? The adherance?
As you walk away, don't come to save me
Don't run back to pull me out of the debris
Don't call my name, for I never asked for a plea
Go enjoy your newfound vision, be free
Erase my face from your memories
Forget the name whose soul was tortured for centuries
Pretend I was never part of any of your directories
Leave and don't look back, embark on your journeys.
