"Mom I'm going to the library! I'll be back before dinner!" I yelled so my mother could hear me.
"Okay! Be safe!" She yelled back.
I left the house and headed to the nearest library, which is my favorite.
And here I am, standing in front of the library.
I went inside and walked towards the nearest bookshelf that I saw.
"Here again, Y/N?" I heard someone say.
I turned my head to the left to find Jackson rearranging the books inside the bookshelves.
He's been working here for years, so I'm quite-- I mean, super close to him.
I smiled warmly at him, "Yep."
"So what book are you searching for now?" He asked.
"I've been more interested in books about love these days." I told him.
He slyly smiled, "Love, eh? Who are you in love with?" He asked.
I glared at him, "Oppa!"
"Geez, I was just joking!" He chuckled. "So, love huh? There's this book about a love story that's quite well-known here... Let me search for it."
"Okay." I said before he left to search for this unknown love book.
I adverted my gaze back to the bookshelf to search for other interesting books when suddenly I felt someone behind me tap my shoulder.
I looked back when, "Boo!!"
"Ahh!" I shrieked and accidentally slapped the person's left cheek.
"Ouch! It hurts!" He whined.
I took a better look at him, "Argh seriously, Mark? Is there nothing else better to do other than surprising me?"
"Please keep quiet! This is a library." I heard one of the library assistants say.
"Sorry." I apologized.
Mark? He's my library buddy. Whenever I'm here, he would also be here. And whenever he's here, I would also be here. And since we both really love books, he's my best friend.
"Sorry, okay? I just did it for fun." He pouted.
"I'm not buying that." I narrowed my eyes on him. Lie.
He rolled his eyes, "Whatever. So, I just wanted to say that I can't stay too long today because--" "Here's the book, Y/N." Jackson came from behind and handed me the book.
"Oh, hi hyung. And uh, I'm running late so I guess, I'll see you later, Y/N!" He looked at his watch and left right after.
"Bye!" Jackson and I said in unison.
I looked at the book Jackson gave me, "Thanks, oppa."
"Yeah, sure." He said and continued on what he was doing, rearranging the books.
