Becky's POV:
I gazed at Freen, my heart racing. It's been a year since the bet that changed our lives.
"Freen, from the moment I met you, I knew you were special," I said, my voice trembling.
We stood in our beach house, the sunset casting a warm glow.
After avenging her brother's death, Freen's father realized his mistakes. He officially announced her as his heir, and she took over his empire as CEO.
"You've done an amazing job as CEO," I said, pride swelling in my chest.
Freen smiled, her eyes sparkling.
"Thanks to you, Becky. You helped me find my strength."
"Did I do something wrong?" Freen asked, her brow furrowed.
"No, why would you think that?" I replied.
"You look tense, Becky," Freen observed, caressing my face.
I knelt down, my eyes locked on hers.
"Freen, it's been a year. The bet... it was all a ruse to show you how much I love you, how worthy you are."
Tears welled up in Freen's eyes.
"I want this to be real," I continued. "I want to give you happiness, share my life with you. Be my girlfriend."
Freen's silence left me breathless.
"Becky..." Freen whispered, her voice barely audible.
"Yes?" I urged.
"You saved me from darkness," Freen said, her voice filled with emotion. "You showed me love, support... and helped me reclaim my rightful place."
My heart swelled.
"I love you, Becky. I loved you even when I didn't know it," Freen confessed.
I exhaled, relief washing over me.
"Really?" I asked, smiling.
Freen nodded.
"I already thought I was your girlfriend," Freen whispered, smiling.
I wrapped my arms around her, holding her close.
"My girlfriend, my love," I whispered back.
Freen's lips brushed against mine.
"I love you, Becky."
"I love you too, Freen."
Our lips met, sealing our love forever.
"Forever and always," Freen whispered.
"Forever and always," I replied.
