Becky's POV:

I waited anxiously in the Armstrong mansion's foyer, awaiting Saint's report. Hours passed, and finally, he arrived, impeccably dressed as always. His professional demeanor belied the warmth in his eyes.

"Becky!" Saint exclaimed, opening his arms for a hug.

I embraced him tightly, feeling a mix of relief and trepidation.

"Saint, you're more than just our family's head of security," I whispered. "You're like an older brother."

Saint smiled.

"Anyone who hurts you will answer to me," he said, his voice low and protective.

Dad, Richard, and Richie joined us, their faces expectant.

"Saint, do you have the details?" I asked, my heart racing.

Saint nodded, his expression serious.

"Let's sit down."

We gathered in the living room, and Saint began.

"Have you heard of Chanmika's family?"

Dad nodded.

Richard's eyes narrowed.

"Freen is the sole heir of Chanmika's empire."

The room fell silent.

Richie's eyes widened.

"What? Then Why would Freen work for us? They're wealthier and more influential than us!"

Saint sighed.

"It's complicated. Freen's mother passed away when she was young. Her father remarried, but his new wife manipulated him. She punished and harassed Freen, and her father didn't believe her."

My heart ached.

"and then came Heng" Saint continued. "Freen's stepbrother. He was her only ally, the one person who loved her unconditionally."

I felt a pang of jealousy.

"Then Nita entered their lives," Saint said, his voice measured. "Nita was Heng's lover."

The room erupted into shocked murmurs.

I reeled, processing the revelations.

Freen's past was darker than I'd imagined.

Nita's involvement was more sinister than I'd thought.

"Saint, what else?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Saint's expression turned grim.

"There's more, Becky. Freen's stepmother's abuse, Heng's complicated loyalty... and Nita's true intentions."

My world spun.

I needed to protect Freen.

No matter what.

Saint continued, revealing shocking details. "I spoke with Nam, Freen's friend, who confirmed Nita's manipulation. When Heng was away, Nita tried to exploit Freen sexually, but Freen refused."

My heart sank.

"Nita then deceived Freen, claiming Heng betrayed her and left her pregnant. Freen, being kind-hearted, consoled Nita, and Nita kissed her. Unfortunately, Heng walked in on them, misinterpreted the situation, and Nita twisted the story, accusing Freen of forcing herself."

The room fell silent.

"Heng, heartbroken, distanced himself from Freen. Later, he took his own life, and everyone blamed Freen. She was forced to flee, cutting all ties and struggling to cope."

I felt a surge of anger and empathy for Freen.

"We must clear Freen's name and make things right," Dad said resolutely.

Richie stood up.

"Nita is much worser than I thought "

Saint nodded and continued, "She must be having an acquaintance.. I don't believe that Nita truly loved Heng.. there's more to.it"

"Be prepared, Niya. Freen's wounds are deep."

I steeled myself.

"I'll help Freen heal, no matter what."

Just as Saint finished speaking, my phone buzzed. I glanced at the screen, and my heart skipped a beat.

"Excuse me, Dad, Richie, Saint," I said, urgency creeping into my voice. "I need to go."

Dad's brow furrowed.

"What's wrong, Becky?"

"It's our underground boxing club," I said, already standing. "Freen's fighting tonight."

Richie's eyes widened.

"What? Why?"

I grabbed my bag.

"I don't know, but I have to stop her. She can't keep putting herself in harm's way."

Saint stood.

"I'll drive you, Becky. We'll get Freen out of there."

I nodded,"No, I will deal with this. Can you please watch Nita for me"

As we rushed out, Richie called after us.

"Bring Freen home, safe!"

My mind raced with worries.

Why was Freen fighting?

I couldn't shake the image of Freen's battered face.

I took a deep breath and departed to boxing club seeing the tigress in cage. No one is able to stop her. She is beating an unknown girl violently. I stepped in and hugged Freen from back, "It's alright baby, I am here."

She cried in my arms,"Why my heart is aching like this? I am not able to....", with that she felt unconscious in my hand.

I carried her to my car and reached home carrying her to our bedroom....
