You in my blurred memories
I see the light coming from the window;
I see you in the shadow,
Never have I ever seen someone-
As beautiful as them, it took me-
It took me to the meadows.
But blurred was the sight
And vague was the memory,
As I turn around and realise
It wasn't a memory but a misery.
They say, "Seven years is all that takes
To realise they're the one."
Thirteen years have passed
And I realised I was the only one-
Who counted the years, and the months.
But now all I have is a blurred memory-
Of you and her and me,
And the tears you gave me.~Astrid Lyrax
