Reach Out to Me

In the moonlit sky, I search for a hand,
A gentle touch to guide me through the land;
The wind whispers secrets, cold and grey,
But I yearn for your warmth, every single day.

My heart beats with a lonely rhyme,
Longing for the melody of your time;
In the silence, I hear your name—
A whispered plea, a heartfelt claim.

Amidst the meadow's swaying blooms,
Where scents of lavender and roses resume,
I sit, entranced by tender perfumes,
Longing for the warmth of your gentle tunes.

The moon's pale light, a whispered sigh,
Brings chill to my heart, and tears to my eye,
The breeze stirs blooms, and memories awake,
Luring my heart to moments we once shared.

Oh, my angel, with eyes divine,
Reach out to me, and make me mine;
In the darkness, I'm lost and alone,
Your touch, my only guiding stone.

The crickets' chirping, a lonely refrain,
Echoes my heart's persistent pain;
I weep in silence, tears unshed,
Until your love wraps me in its gentle thread.

Reach out to me, through the endless night,
And fill the emptiness with your loving light;
I'm drowning in the shadows, lost and blue,
Reach out to me, my love, and see me through.

A/N:

Me: I'll slow down my updates.
My mind: I want to update, I want to update.

A little fun fact:
This poem is actually inspired from a Wattpad book. I forgot the name as I had read it a long time ago.

That book had a song called 'Reach Out'. So I thought, why not write a poem out of it.

Though the emotions portrayed by this poem and the song in that story is almost the same (emphasis on almost) it has a bit of me in it.

Hope you liked it.
