The tears that whisper within

Deep in the slumber that i reckoned,
Talked the tears as i left them condemned,
In those witching hours of sleep,
I was deceived by my tears that whispered within.

In this orb of undying responsibilities,
That adorned me like a crown,
Cried the tears with much agony,
How could the peace thrive that wasn't even found.

The glossy facade, now cracked and worn,
Reveals the truth I'd long tried to scorn,
That imperfection is where love resides,
And beauty lies in fragile, human tides.
