Beyond The Veil

The truth lies in those blue eyes,
They search around for answers;
They fly around with a gust of euphoria,
As they repeat the ecstatic verse.

'Truth', as subtle as the name sounds,
It holds immense vigour,
Because once it is unveiled-
It even turns gold into silver.

But unveiling the truth is what I fear
Because the veil is what conceals the tears,
And casts a shadow over the pain
That comes with the tears that rain.

As the galaxy shines all bright,
So does the tears in those eyes-
They pry for answers,
Even though it is the veil of truth that hides the clusters-
The clusters that holds the answers.

A/N:

Fun fact:

The first title of this poem was 'The veil of truth'.

I initially wrote this poem to turn it into a book. Though that did not happen, I still published a book that has the same title as another one of my poems.

Make sure to check out 'Echoes of Agony'.
