Damn.Hitting that "completed" button was pretty rewarding.
I hope you all enjoyed this little story! I'd like to mention that I'm a die-hard Kataang shipper, but I loved writing Aang with a different kind of love interest. His character is one of my favorites.
I also think now's the time to share a little secret: Elora and Inara are both inspired by different sides of me. Inara reflects who I am in general, while Elora is who I think I might've been if I hadn't experienced some of the trauma I went through.
Just to clarify, they're not self-inserts, nor are they a way of pairing myself with these characters. But, as you know, writers often draw inspiration for their characters from real life.
I'm really happy with how this turned out. Even though I didn't cover every goal I had for the story, I felt it was time to wrap things up. I loved the journey, and I hope you all did too.
Now, onto Zuko! 😉
