Kabir's Pov

I don't skip my work for anyone but I slept last night when she told me to do so. How can I disobey my cupcake's word. She is not mine yet but soon I will make her mine. Today I wasn't home so I didn't see her all the time as I had to go where my new hotel branch's work is starting.

I hear a knock on my room's door. I open the door.

"Hello bhai!" Rabia says.

"Hello" I say.

"Bhai, I came here to inform you something" she says flipping her hair a little.

"What?" I ask her casually. I am sure that again she did something clumsy and now she wants me to help her from mom and dad's scolding. It's her normal routine.

"I didn't do anything" she says and frawn. Oh shocking.

"Then what do you wanna say?" I ask her.

"Something about..." She takes a pause.

"About?" I ask her.

"My best friend" she says.

"What will I do.." I stop in the middle when the fact hits me, the girl with whom I am obsessed with is her best friend, Mahira.

"What happened to her?" I ask eagerly.

"No no I am not saying now. I changed my mood and you also said what will you do so I don't think there's any need to say anything" she says and about to go.

"Hey stop stop and tell me what happened to her? Is she okay?" I become tensed.

"She is fine" she says.

"Then what happened?" I ask her as everything related to her is important for me.

"She is going after tomorrow at her house so do something, I know you like her so please make her my sister in law soon. But i won't tell you that now if you want to know then first give me some gift" she says and then bites her tongue when she realizes that she blabbered everything. But why is Mahira going so soon. I think she should spend some more time here but then something clicks in my mind.

"Bhai again I blabbered everything in front of you so just leave that and stop Mahira please I want to spend some more time with her" she says whining.

"Let her go" I say and she looks at me shocked.

"Whattt! I thought you like her but you are telling me to let her go. No bhai that's not possible. First time I saw you adoring any woman, first time I saw you too behave so softly and lovingly with any woman other than maa and me. And Mahira she also likes you. Didn't you see the way she blushed whenever you call her 'cupcake'. She made a cake for you on your birthday which she never made for me. Here in this point I am jealous of you but I will manage as you are my brother and she is my best friend. Bhai the way you both look at each other says everything" she says and I stay silent at my place. She is right but I want to hear from Mahira that she likes me. I love the way she responds whenever I call her 'cupcake' and how can I forget the day when Rabia locked us in my office. This is the best thing she did.

"Bhai" she says and I come out from Mahira's thoughts.

"That's why I am telling you to let her go because after that she will come here permanently" I say and she starts smiling and jumping out of excitement.

"Does it mean you are going to marry her?" She asks and I nod.

"But only if she wants then" I say . I don't wanna do things against her will or against her happiness. But I will do each and everything to make her mine. I can fight with her brother too if he tries to come between us.
