'mmm' Jungkook mumbled, his voice thick with sleep. The way he looked at Taehyung who was already awake for a while, made the older's heart twink, a reminder of his whispered confession who went unheard.
Taehyung said with a smile 'Morning Kook'
They shared a comfortable silence, both looking at each other's eyes. Jungkook looked like an angel in the pure morning light, Taehyung thought.
Jungkook sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes- 'Last night... did I say something weird?'
The question caught Taehyung off guard. For a moment, he didn't know how to respond but decided to not mention anything from their talk.
'No, nothing weird' Taehyung replied, keeping his tone light
Jungkook seemed relieved but kept his gaze fixed on the wall, as if collecting his thoughts.
'Any plans for today?' the younger finally said as he sat down on the bed next to Taehyung who was still laying.
'I need to get ready for work, and you?'
'Nope, I think ill go home then' he said, suddenly feeling in a rush to leave, he felt uncomfortable being around the older for the first time ever, and he couldn't understand why.
'Ohh o-ok' the barista said quietly, looking at the younger finished dressing up and just leaving without a word.
ummm what?

Jungkook shut the door softly behind him and started walking down the stairs to the street, the early morning air cool against his face. His mind still felt foggy from drinking last night too much, but still- he was able to remember most of it. replaying every small moment with Taehyung
Something about waking up next to him—seeing his soft smile, the warmth of sharing a bed with him.... it all felt... strange. nice.
He shook his head, quickening his pace as if he could outrun his own thoughts.
What the hell is wrong with me?
Taehyung's my friend
and we agreed
its just a one time thing
But Taehyung's touch...
Fuck- I want him again, badly.
The thought felt so wrong. Taehyung had agreed to help him just once, and Jungkook was the one rushing with it- they could have taken it slowly, continuing still with their lessons... fuck why was I so impulsive to rush it
He felt like a terrible friend, selfish and unfair. But he couldn't ignore it. The craving was there, a gnawing feeling in his chest.
He told himself its just an attraction, a really fucking strong attraction. But even that didn't feel right. When he thought about Taehyung, it wasn't just about being close to him in that way. He loved being around him, loved the way he'd light up talking about his work and the ideas he had to decorate the cafe for Christmas and the photos Taehyung wanted to take but didnt know how.
The way he smiled, especially when he didn't know Jungkook was looking—it was so... beautiful. Taehyung is so beautiful, from inside out.
Jungkook caught himself smiling to himself thinking of the older. his hands clenched in his pockets, his heart racing. How is one so damn beautiful? His cheeks flushed. He didn't want to admit it, not even to himself.

The cafe was cozy that afternoon, filled with the low hum of quiet conversations and the soothing clatter of cups and spoons. Sunlight filtered through the window, casting a warm glow on Taehyung as he worked behind the counter. it was a beautiful day.
