Following that ordeal, it was easy to say that everyone was a little extra on edge.
You woke up not too long after, feeling fit as a fiddle, and were thoroughly confused as to why the whole crew seemed to be walking on eggshells, Nami nearly bursting into tears when you tried to talk to her.
Even Zoro seemed more tense than usual, his glare sharper, his tone more pointed, and his body seemingly attached to your side.
Sadly, there were more pressing matters to attend to, and you settled on asking about the weird behavior later.
In order to escape Egghead, you'd have to evacuate everyone to Vega Force 1, the giant robot from before, and use it to carry the Sunny out of the island's atmosphere and away from the enclosing Navy.
But, of course, someone had to secure it.
So, thoroughly against Zoro's wishes, you slipped away with Luffy's team to provide aerial support.
Little did you know that would be a deadly mistake...

"We have to hurry! They could have the barrier down any minute now!" Lilith exclaimed, the five you sprinting toward where the Sunny and Vega Force were docked. "We need to carry the ship to the backside of the island so its ready!"
"Once the barrier drops, we'll be vulnerable. We gotta make sure we're ready for anything," you reminded, seriously.
"To be honest, I'm a tad excited," Lilith smiled. "This will be my first time leaving the island!"
"We're not exactly going on a picnic..." Franky shook his head.
"I'll say! We don't have enough food for that!" Luffy panted, gripping tightly on the straps of the enormous backpack of food he brought.
"Yeah! And what we had earlier wasn't enough either! We should stock up on pizza!" Bonney agreed.
"Just grab some cheese! Sanji'll handle the rest!"
"Can you focus?!" you exclaimed, pinching and stretching your captain's cheek.
"Sorry..."
"Look, bros! I see the Sunny up ahead!" Franky pointed, your shoulders relaxing at the sight of the lion figurehead.
Suddenly, blinding, yellow light began to shine not too far behind Vega Force, forcing all of you to screech to a halt.
"What the—?! What's causing all that light down there?!" Bonney asked, confused.
"Someone really strong... is coming," Luffy stated, brows furrowed as an overwhelming presence washed over the area.
'That presence isn't where the light is coming from... but I'd recognize that yellow anywhere...'
