You snapped your eyes open with an incredibly aggressive gasp, your chest awakening with a feeling equivalent to being tugged at, your soul snapping back into place, almost like elastic, re-anchoring your body to the mortal plane.

The body which seemed to be instinctively picking up where it left off.

Ready for a fight, you sat straight up, frantically looking around to gauge where you were.

And it was certainly nowhere you'd ever been before.

'This room is gigantic...'

You seemed to be in a bedroom of sorts, only it was about a million times larger than anything fit for your size, the walls and floors lined with huge planks of wood.

Hell, the bed you were sitting on was large enough for about five Sunny's.

Though, in your looking around, it wasn't long before you got the feeling that someone was staring at you.

It was like a hole was being burned in the back of your head, and as you turned around to find its source, your soul was nearly knocked right back out your body, your eyes landing on the face of your swordsman.

Just as handsome as you left him.

He was shirtless, with a thick, black fur cape draped over his shoulders, and green and orange striped pants, held up by a large, brown leather belt, with his haramaki hugging his waist just under it.

Not only that, but he also had on thick, moccasin-like boots, with furry cuffs on each of his forearms.

He looked like something out of your best viking-villager wet dreams.

"(y/n)..." he muttered, voice barely above a whisper as his good eye stared at you with disbelief.

'No way...'

Your skin was cold as ice when he last touched you.

Your heart was still as stone when he pressed his ear against your chest.

Your eyes were as dull as copper when he shut them for you.

You were dead, in the truest, most final sense of the word.

So how were you sitting up right now?

Staring at him with those damn pretty eyes and that stupid, adorable smile?

Without warning, you tackled him in a hug, taking him down against the thick plush of the bed with a giddy squeal, your lips frantically finding their way to his face and peppering him with kisses.

"Don't... rush me... all... at once!" you giggled in between breaths. "I... missed you... so much!"

'Missed me?'
