Kara's legs trembled beneath her as she stumbled through the dense trees, her breath coming in shallow, panicked gasps. The moonlight barely pierced the thick canopy above, casting twisted shadows that seemed to slither at the edges of her vision. Her mind reeled, unable to process everything she had just endured.

She had escaped. She had escaped.

But the whispers were still there, curling in her ears, tugging at her thoughts, always just at the edge of her perception. They weren't just in her head. They were real. She could still hear them, faint, like the rustling of dry leaves. It was the voice of the hospital-alive, waiting.

"Just keep moving," she whispered to herself, her voice barely more than a rasp. "Just keep moving."

The forest felt endless, the trees closing in on her as if they were alive, as if they had a mind of their own. The further she went, the more the air thickened, the more she felt the weight of something watching her. The sense of dread that had gripped her heart inside the hospital now clung to her like a suffocating fog.

It's not over, she thought. The words whispered through her mind, and she knew deep down they were true. No matter how far she ran, no matter how hard she tried to escape, the hospital was still out there. Still watching her. Waiting.

She kept running, but her body was breaking down, exhausted from everything she had been through. Her legs gave out, and she fell hard to the ground, her breath ragged as she lay in the dirt, staring up at the sky. The dark canopy above her felt like it was pressing in, and in the distance, she thought she saw the flickering lights of the hospital again. No. It couldn't be real. It was just the remnants of her panic, her mind playing tricks on her.

But then she heard it.

A door slamming shut. The same door from the hospital.

Kara's heart skipped a beat. She pushed herself up, her body screaming in pain, and turned toward the sound, her eyes scanning the trees. There was no door here, no hospital. Yet she could still hear it-the unmistakable sound of something moving in the distance. Something large. Something familiar.

Her blood ran cold as the realization hit her.

The hospital wasn't gone. It had followed her.

She turned, ready to run again, but the ground beneath her shifted. The forest seemed to bend, the trees groaning as if they were being pulled apart. The sky darkened, and the air thickened with a heavy, unnatural fog. In the distance, the hospital appeared once more-towering, dark, and inescapable. The windows glowed faintly, as if the building itself was beckoning her back.

And there, standing at the entrance, was Lily.

Her once pale, lifeless face was now twisted into a grotesque, mocking smile. The skin around her eyes had decayed, leaving nothing but dark, hollow sockets. She was motionless, her body standing as if frozen in time, but Kara could feel her eyes on her, even from the distance.

"You can't leave," Lily's voice echoed, though her lips didn't move. The sound came from everywhere at once, wrapping around Kara like a vice.

Kara backed away, fear clawing at her chest. She turned, running blindly through the fog, but no matter which way she went, the hospital was always there-looming in the distance, closer now. The trees bent at unnatural angles, their branches stretching toward her like skeletal hands, blocking her escape at every turn.

Her legs burned, her mind racing, but nothing she did could stop the inevitable. The hospital was closing in on her. And then, just as quickly as she had started running, she felt the ground shift again. It was like the earth had opened beneath her feet.

Kara screamed as she fell, the world spinning around her. The darkness swallowed her whole, and just before everything went black, she heard the laughter.

Lily's laughter.

When Kara opened her eyes, she was no longer in the forest.

The air was cold and sterile, and the harsh fluorescent lights above her flickered as they always had. The familiar smell of antiseptic and decay filled her nostrils. She was back in the hospital.

She tried to move, but her body was stiff, frozen. She couldn't feel her legs. She couldn't feel anything at all. Panic flooded her chest as she struggled, trying to lift herself from the bed, but she couldn't. Her limbs wouldn't obey her.

The room around her was dark, the shadows growing long as she struggled to comprehend what was happening. She looked down at her hands-pale, thin, and trembling. They were covered in something wet. She looked closer. Blood. There was blood on her hands, soaking into the sheets beneath her.

This isn't real. The thought repeated in her head. It couldn't be real. She had escaped.

And yet, here she was. Back in the hospital. It felt like the same room she had been in before, but somehow it was worse. The walls seemed to close in on her, the air thick and suffocating.

From the corner of the room, a figure stepped into view. It was Lily again, but this time her presence was even more imposing. Her hair hung in tangled knots, and her eyes were empty, black holes that seemed to consume everything around them. She didn't speak, but Kara felt the weight of her gaze-cold, unforgiving.

"Why?" Kara gasped, her voice barely a whisper. "Why am I still here?"

Lily stepped closer, her presence suffocating, and her lips twisted into a smile that was both cruel and knowing.

The walls around Kara began to shift again. The room was no longer just a room. It was the entire hospital, stretching infinitely, pulling her in, its dark hallways and decaying rooms surrounding her on all sides.

She was trapped.

"You never left," Lily's voice echoed in her mind, a haunting whisper. "None of you did. You're all here."

Kara's heart pounded as the reality of what was happening settled in. The hospital was alive, and it had never let her go. The doors, the walls, the floors-they were all part of it. It was part of her now.

The laughter returned, louder this time, like a thousand voices all speaking at once. It filled the air, drowning out her thoughts. Kara screamed, but no sound came out. She was locked inside, with no escape, surrounded by the darkness that had claimed her friends... and now, it was coming for her.

The last thing Kara saw was Lily's eyes, those empty, cold eyes, staring at her as she was swallowed whole by the hospital, its walls closing in, its whispers calling her name.
