Kara's heart pounded in her chest, her breathing shallow as she stumbled through the endless hallway. The walls seemed to stretch on forever, dark and cold, their smooth surface glistening under the flickering lights. She turned a corner, her feet dragging beneath her as if the very floor was pulling her back. But she couldn't stop. She wouldn't stop.

It's not real. Her mind kept repeating, trying to calm her, but it didn't work. She had escaped once before, only to find herself back here. She had made it out of the hospital, into the outside world, and yet, now she was trapped again-inside it, surrounded by its darkness.

She glanced over her shoulder, expecting to see Lily or some other form of the twisted figure from before, but there was nothing. No shadow, no dark presence waiting in the corner.

For a brief moment, Kara allowed herself to believe that she was alone. That she might actually be free.

But the moment passed.

The whispers began again, low and guttural, filling the space with a sense of cold dread. Her pulse quickened, and she felt the chill creep up her spine. They were coming-the voices were getting louder, like a thousand feet scraping across the floor, moving closer, circling her.

"You can't escape." The words echoed in her ears.

Kara started running again, her breath coming in short gasps as she pushed herself harder, her body screaming at her to stop, but she couldn't. She couldn't let them catch her.

The hallways twisted, the doors that once appeared open now sealed shut, blocking her path. The dim light above her flickered violently, casting eerie shadows that seemed to move on their own. Her footsteps echoed in the silence, louder now, more insistent, as if the hospital itself was amplifying her every move, keeping her from ever leaving.

She rounded another corner and froze.

Before her, standing at the end of the hall, was a door-just one. The door she had run toward the first time. The one that had led her to freedom. The one she had thought would be her salvation.

But now, as she approached it again, something felt wrong.

The door was different. It was... older. The once bright, polished wood had turned dark, chipped, and rotting. A cold, metallic stench wafted from it, making her stomach churn. It wasn't the door to escape. It was another part of the hospital.

But she couldn't turn back. She had to face it. She had no choice.

Kara reached for the handle, and as her fingers brushed the cold metal, she felt it-a shift in the air. The temperature dropped, and the lights above her flickered violently, the shadows growing even darker.

The door swung open with an unnatural creak, revealing a room shrouded in darkness.

"Lily?" Kara whispered, her voice trembling.

The air around her grew heavy, as if something was watching her. Then, the whispering started. The voices of her friends, Ethan, Mia, Ben-they all spoke at once, their words indistinguishable, a jumble of cries and pleas. It was as if they were still trapped inside the hospital, their souls bound to it, unable to leave.

Kara stepped forward, drawn into the room. Her body moved of its own accord, and before she knew it, she was standing at the center of the darkness. She couldn't see anything around her, but she could feel the hospital-the weight of it, the pulse of its life.

The room shifted. The walls seemed to collapse inward, and Kara was pulled down, down into the abyss, the voices rising louder, overwhelming her senses. It was as though the hospital had opened its mouth, ready to swallow her whole.

She screamed, but no sound escaped. She tried to move, tried to fight, but the darkness was too strong, its grip too powerful. She couldn't breathe. She couldn't think.

And then, suddenly, she was weightless.

For a split second, there was silence. No whispers. No footsteps. Just the quiet thrum of her heartbeat. The darkness seemed to hold her, as though it was waiting, watching.

And then, a figure appeared before her, stepping out of the shadows. Lily. Her once decayed body now standing tall, her eyes dark and endless, her lips curling into that same twisted smile.

"You should have stayed away," Lily said, her voice like a cold wind brushing against Kara's skin.

Kara tried to move, but her body was frozen, unable to break free. She could feel the darkness closing in around her, wrapping her in its cold embrace. The hospital, the evil inside it-it was here, and it was stronger than ever.

"You're mine now."

The words echoed in her mind, and as Kara looked into Lily's hollow eyes, she realized something. She wasn't just a victim of the hospital anymore. She was a part of it.

The room around her began to warp, the walls dissolving into the shadows, and Kara's vision blurred. The faces of her friends-Ethan, Mia, Ben-they appeared and disappeared, their tortured expressions filling her with dread. They had become part of the hospital, just like she was about to.

Kara's scream echoed in the darkness as the hospital closed in on her, its walls wrapping around her like a suffocating noose.

Kara's eyes snapped open. She gasped, her breath shallow and frantic. But she wasn't in the hospital anymore. She was back in the same dark hallway, the same place she had been before. The door was still in front of her, only now it was completely gone-nothing but solid, black space.

Her hands shook, the reality of it all crashing down on her. She wasn't free. She would never be free.

The whispers returned, louder now, circling her, calling her name. The voices of her friends echoed with them, but this time, they weren't just speaking-they were crying out for help. They were begging her to join them. To become one with the hospital.

Kara turned around and saw the shadows shifting. They were moving again, like the hospital itself was alive, watching her, pulling her back in.

She didn't know how many times this had happened, how many times she had walked through these halls. But it didn't matter. She was part of the hospital now.

And the hospital would never let her go.
