"It seems the killer likes to do one a day," Privet said, "Meet me at her house, tell your dad to come too." Privet drives to the house and sees Ricky kneeling over his wife's dead body sobbing. Privet walks over to console him, but when Ricky notices him, all he does is hand him a piece of paper with an R on it.
"Here," he says, "Found it on her body"
Privet takes it and shines his light on it, revealing the last part of the map but nothing important. He puts it away for later. Soon after Ryan and Guilty approach from their cars. Ricky stands up, walks over, and punches Ryan in the face. Guilty grabs him and pulls him back.
"WHAT THE HLEL Ricky!?!?!?!?" He yells while holding the screaming man back,
"Why'd you punch dad?!?!!?"
"HE K! ILLED HER, HE CAME WHILE I WAS AT WORK AND KILLED HER!!! THERE'S NO ONE ELSE THAT R COULD REFER TO!"
"WHY WOULD I KILL MY OWN WIFE!?!?!?!?!" Ryan shouts back.
"BECAUSE SHE TRIED TO STOP YOU THAT'S WHY!"
"Are you sure she wasn't trying to stop you?" Privet says as he comes out of the house with several invisible ink pens and a stack of cards exactly like the ones with the Rs on them.
"HOW DO I KNOW YOU DIDN'T PLANT THOSE?!?!!?!?"
"Come on in, there's an entire secret room filled with this kind of stuff behind a bookshelf"
"If you look around," Privet explained as they all entered the house and he showed them the room, "There are signs of a struggle. I'm assuming that the wife found out somehow and tried to talk him out of it, which made Ricky angry, so he killed her." By this time, Guilty was now beating the cr@p out of Ricky, while Ryan called the police.
Guilty stops beating up Ricky for a second to ask a question.
"Why did he take our stuff then and where is it?"
Privet gives him a quick grin before replying, "He killed them to get the insurance money and the money from their wills, and he probably took your money as well in case the wills were changed, also your money is over there."
Privet points to a corner where Guilty's money and jewelry are sitting there waiting.
"I'll get it later" Goes back to beating up Ricky.
Privet continues, more to himself than anyone, "He used the Rs because he was full of himself and to frame Ryan, the map was just a red herring" He wrote all this down in the case file and put it away.
When the police arrived they took Ricky into custody and gave Guilty his stolen stuff back. They all went home and lived happily for a long while. They had the trial as well but that was a quick thing.

"So Holme's, I see you got my message?" Privet says as he sits across from the greatest detective in London.
"Yes, I am interested to read about this case"
Privet hands over the case file.
Sherlock reads it and chuckles, "Impressive, but you still missed a detail that could have saved poor Carla's life, and maybe that Ryan man's wife as well."
"Really? What?"
"You never checked for alibis or handwriting. Two very key details in this kind of investigation"
"But I did do that"
"Welp, that's it, impressive, but could have been better"
Sarcastically, Privet responds, "Thanks"
Holmes makes note of the sarcasm, "You're welcome"
