It was a sunny but cold day in early March, and Privat Eie was once again waiting for a call. However, this time it had nothing to do with business being slow. In fact, Privat Eie had been overwhelmed with all the cases he'd gotten since he successfully solved the Guilty Family Murders. This time, he was waiting for a call back about his car, which had recently broken down. The phone rings and Privet picks it up instantly.
"Hello?"
"Is this Mr. Eie?" A voice asks.
"Uhm, yes. Is this about my car?"
"No. I have a case for you to solve."
"Looks like you're gonna have to get in line, buddy. Lots of people have cases they need me to solve. I'm currently working on three at the same time."
"Fine, then. I'll pay you double to do my case now."
"You have my attention. What can I do for you?"
"I need you to pretend to be my long-lost cousin to solve a murder."
"Is this you, the person you want me to pretend to be, or the person that was murdered?"
"I'm the person that was murdered's daughter. I believe my father had some people after him for his money; he was a very successful businessman."
"And you want me to play as your cousin?"
"Yes. Didn't I already mention that?"
"Yes, just making sure, and how does being a detective help you? Why don't you just ask a friend to do it?"
"Because you know how to spot lies, if you are right up in the middle of everything, like per-say, the funeral, you could tell who did it"
"But if the person who did it is someone in your family, wouldn't they know I'm not a cousin?"
"I don't think it was someone in the family"
"And why not?"
"As I said before, I believe it was one of my father's old business enemies."
"...right, where and when do you want me to show up, and dressed in what way?"
"There's a dinner tonight starting at 6 p.m. to celebrate my older brother taking over the company. Just dress in some sort of fancy black suit and go, I already registered you under the alias name Elvio. Also, the restaurant is called "Restaurant That People Come to Celebrate Taking Over a Company from a Dead Relative"."
"Right, I'll be there," Privet hangs up the phone and goes to get ready, he looks in his closet, grabs his nice suit and tie, puts it on, and realizes he still has like four hours before he has to leave.
