WARNING FOR POOKIES:

Grab a pillow and water. Because what you're about to read... is big. 😏💥

I'm talking about the tension. The heat. The unavoidable intensity that's about to hit you like a freight train. And trust me, you'll need that pillow to hold onto and that water to cool off. 😅

Consider this your official heads-up: VH (very hot) vibes ahead.

Proceed with caution—or don't. Who am I kidding? Go ahead, dive in. 😉

Jungkook carefully placed the unusual flower on the small wooden table beside the bed, tilting her head to admire it. She plopped down onto the bed with a tired sigh, her fingers absentmindedly fiddling with the hem of her pyjama sleeve. Her eyes darted to the flower and a small smile tugged at her lips.

"You're definitely unique, aren't you?" she murmured, leaning closer to inspect it again.

Tracing one finger gently along the edge of a petal, she marvelled at its velvet-like texture. Sitting back against the headboard, she crossed her arms.

"He's always so... so suspicious!" Jungkook grumbled, scrunching her nose. "One little flower and he's acting like it's a ticking time bomb. 'It's unusual, Jungkook,'" she mimicked, imitating Taehyung's voice.

Jungkook paused for a moment, glancing at the flower again. "Okay, maybe it is a little unusual," she admitted reluctantly.

Her lips pursed as she thought back to Taehyung's expression earlier and she leaned in closer, propping her chin on her palm. "You're not cursed, are you?" she asked it softly, as though expecting a response. "I mean, you don't look dangerous. If anything, you're the prettiest thing I've seen all day."

Jungkook settled back into the pillows, casting one last glance at the flower. "If he doesn't want to appreciate you, I will," she declared with a grin.

Still, as the quietness of the room enveloped her, doubt began to crept into her mind. Taehyung's cautious voice echoed faintly in her thoughts.

"Unusual," she whispered to herself, her grin faltering slightly.

The flower, faintly shining in the dark, remained on the table—a silent mystery, its beauty belying the danger it held within.
