"What are you doing?" Oliver's voice jerks both, me and Ellie out of our own zone and we turn to him, "Hey Ollie." I wave at him and a big smile appears on his face.
"You're not mad at me?" He asked with puppy eyes and I shook my head. He sighed in relief. "Thank goodness." He walked closer to us. "So what were you guys doing?" He asked again.
"Playing with our shadows." Ellie answe for me. Oliver frowned and looked down, he saw his own shadow and smiled. He took a step back then forward, then around and started playing like we've been doing.
"It is fun." Ellie and I chuckled at his words. After the conversation in my room, we decided to have some fresh air so we came down to backyard.
"The dinner is ready. Adam made it." Ellie's eyes lit up at Oliver's words. "You have to try it, Adam is an excellent chef." She tells me with a smile.
I place my finger on my chin like I'm thinking, "Can't take your word for it."
Ellie smiled and gestured for me to go inside. "That's why you should try it."
To my surprise, there were only Adam, Ellie Ollie and me at the dinner table. Ellie informed me that Damien had work and that's where Warren probably was also. Caleb and Jonathan just didn't want to eat here so they took their plates to their room.
"This is great." Oliver was the first one to speak. I can't help but agree with him. If it was just the four of us we would have peaceful days.
"This is delicious." Oliver complimented Adam's work. I nodded my head. "Ellie was right about you. This is the most delicious food I've ever tasted."
Adam smiled. "Thank you." He looked at Ellie who was busy stuffing her mouth with his food. "Sorry, I finished mine."
Adam chuckled at the adorable look on Ellie's face. "It's alright, I'm full anyways."
I smiled looking at them. I hope I'll find someone like Adam. The way he behaves with Ellie is everything I want for myself. And I've only met them couple of days ago. I shake my head regretting ever becoming friends with Paris. But what was I supposed to do? He saved me. He saved me from the worst possible thing that could ever happen to me or any women so I was thankful and I thought he was a good person.
"How's school?" Ellie asks and I shrug. "It's only been one week so not anything interesting."
Oliver raises an eyebrow, "So you don't think the twins accusing you of making out with Logan is a big deal?"
Ellie's eyes widen and she stares at Ollie. "They did what?"
Ollie nods his head. "And Caleb scared her."
"What do you mean?" Adam frowned and leaned on the table.
"Ollie it's okay-"
He didn't let me finish. "He went into her room and started yelling at her and then he wouldn't leave even though she was crying."
Okay, now he's kind of crossing a line. He can't just say that.
"What?" Both, Adam and Ellie exclaimed in anger. "I'm killing them." Ellie stood up not waiting for anyone as she ran up the stairs, more likely to the twins' room. Adam gets up, "I can't let her do it alone." He followed her and it was just Ollie and me now.
I looked at him with disappointment and his expression fell. "What did I do?" He could see that I was upset.
"You shouldn't have said my story to them without my permission, maybe I didn't want them to know I cried." I yelled at him in frustration.
