02| The Blue Notebook.
I opened my locker, placing in a few books that Thomas and Danny gave me earlier. I left the group shortly after the introduction. They were Thomas's friends and I didn't anything to do with them. Even if that means being lonely for a couple of days at school.
"Hey!" I heard someone randomly shout out loud. I turnt my head to look over my shoulder, to see who in the right mind thinks it's okay to be obnoxiously loud. My hand was resting in the door to my locker and the other went straight to my side.
To my surprise it was a Soc. He and a few other boys had been gathering together, circling something...Or someone. They only stood a few feet from where I stood. Matter of fact, as I started to face the group the more I noticed two pair of shoes hiding behind the group of Socs.
One thing led to another and a Soc threw his hand forward and swinged it? No. There was a loud noise. Books hitting the hard floor and scattering on the ground. The Soc must've, purposely, hit the persons book making them fall out of their hands.
I jumped up in my place, startled by their behavior. It was taunting and just mean. Socs were supposed to be nice. Aren't they good people?
As I collected my thoughts I had took notice to my shoes. There was a blue notebook resting near the top of my pearly black shoes. The notebook was in harsh condition with marking and half peeled stickers along the cover.
Slowly, I bent down and picked it up, making sure to be careful with it. I wouldn't want to add to the destruction of the notebook. So, my fingers trialed along the cover and stopped at a sticker. It was small and the shape of a horse. Although, I could be mistaken because the more I looked at it, I came to realize it was a pony.
I looked up and back at the group of Socs. They said a few more things that I couldn't hear to the unknown people before walking away and I finally got to put a face to the unknown people.
It was two boys. They looked younger than me. Much smaller than the Socs that were bothering them earlier. One of the boys had blonde hair and light skin while the other was the opposite. He was a skinny looking boy with dark hair and brown skin.
Looking at the two boys pick up the books off of the ground made my heart squeeze. They both had a look of innocence to them.
"There you are." My grip around the blue notebook tightened as I turned around to see Cherry and another girl standing by my locker.
"I've been looking for you. The boys weren't helpful at all." Cherry began to ramble on. As if nothing had changed between us. She was the exact same as I remembered her. Orange hair and pouting lips.
"Expect for Danny. He was actually trying to help us...Anyways, this is Marcia." Cherry gestured a hand to the brunette girl next to her. Marcia was a cute girl. She looked kind on the inside and out.
"Clementine Maeve Montgomery?" The girl questioned. I mentally cringed at the sound of my full name.
"Just Clementine."
Marci nodded her head, politely before speaking again, "You're prettier than I thought." She said. "Bob and Danny weren't lying..." Marcia startled to giggle but stopped once she realized what she had just said.
