The soft bell above the flower shop door chimed as Jeonghan stepped inside, brushing off the slight chill from the autumn breeze. His sharp eyes scanned the space, taking in the vibrant array of blooms that filled the air with a sweet fragrance. He had passed this shop countless times on his way to the office but had never ventured inside until now. Today, he needed something more than just blueprints and drafts. He needed a touch of nature to bring life to his latest project.

"Welcome! How can I help you today?" your voice chimed from behind the counter as you arranged a bouquet of lilies. You looked up, meeting his gaze with a warm smile. "Looking for something specific, or just browsing?"

Jeonghan approached the counter, his movements as fluid and purposeful as his designs. "Actually, I'm working on a new building project, and I thought some plants might be the perfect finishing touch," he explained, his tone professional yet easygoing. "Something that complements the modern aesthetic but also adds a bit of warmth."

You nodded thoughtfully, already picturing the types of plants that might fit his description. "Well, you've come to the right place. Plants can really bring a space to life. Do you have a color scheme in mind or a particular vibe you're going for?"

"Clean lines, lots of natural light. The building has a very open, airy feel. I'm thinking of using greens that aren't too bold, but more like accents that blend with the space," Jeonghan replied, his eyes flicking over the various plants on display.

You grinned, stepping out from behind the counter to join him by the plant section. "Sounds like you've already got a good vision. For a space like that, I'd recommend something like snake plants or peace lilies. They're sleek, low-maintenance, and give off a modern yet inviting feel."

Jeonghan leaned down to inspect one of the snake plants you pointed out, nodding approvingly. "I like the sound of that. And I have to admit, I'm not exactly great at keeping plants alive, so low-maintenance is a definite plus."

You laughed softly, giving him a playful look. "Well, I suppose that makes you the architect who builds grand structures but struggles to keep a simple plant alive. Quite the paradox, Mr. Architect."

He chuckled, appreciating your wit. "Guilty as charged. I guess I can't be good at everything."

"Luckily for you, I am an expert in keeping plants alive, so you're in good hands," you replied confidently, picking up a peace lily and placing it on the counter. "This one is a peace lily. It's pretty forgiving, so even if you neglect it a little, it'll still thrive."

Jeonghan tilted his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "Is that so? Maybe I need someone like you around more often to make sure I don't kill off all the greenery."

You raised an eyebrow, catching the hint of flirtation in his tone. "Are you saying you need a personal plant consultant, or are you just trying to get some free gardening advice?"

"Why not both?" he shot back smoothly, his gaze holding yours for a moment longer than necessary.

You laughed again, shaking your head. "Well, you know where to find me if your plants start to look a little sad."

"Actually," Jeonghan began, his tone shifting from playful to something a bit more serious, "I was thinking... I could use some help picking out flowers for my office, too. Maybe you could join me for coffee, and we could discuss it? You know, keep things professional while I pick your brain about design ideas."

You felt a warmth spread through you at his invitation, though his words were perfectly professional. There was an underlying suggestion that this could be more than just a business meeting. You played along, keeping the tone light and teasing. "Coffee, huh? Is that where all architects go to finalize their plans?"

"Only the smart ones," Jeonghan replied, his smile widening as he leaned casually against the counter, his eyes sparkling with a mix of charm and sincerity. "Plus, it's easier to discuss creative ideas with good coffee and good company."

You pretended to think it over, tapping your chin. "Hmm... You make a compelling case, Mr. Architect. I suppose I could spare some time to help you out. Besides, I wouldn't want you to pick the wrong flowers for your office."

"That would be a disaster," Jeonghan agreed with a mock-serious nod. "And I'd much rather avoid disaster-especially when it comes to impressing clients."

"Ah, so this is all about impressing clients, is it?" you teased lightly, enjoying the easy banter between you. "And here I thought you just wanted to impress your fellow architects with your newfound plant expertise."

"Maybe it's a bit of both," he admitted, his tone playful but his gaze sincere. "But I'll let you in on a secret-I'm more interested in impressing the florist than my colleagues."

The comment caught you off guard, making your cheeks flush slightly. Jeonghan noticed and smiled, clearly pleased with your reaction. You quickly recovered, maintaining your composure. "Well, Mr. Architect, you're off to a good start. Coffee sounds like a great idea."

"Then it's a date," he said smoothly, his words hanging in the air as if testing the waters. He didn't push, but the intention was clear.

You couldn't help but smile at the turn the conversation had taken. "It's a plan," you replied, equally smooth but with a hint of playfulness. "Just remember-no slacking on those plants. I'll be checking in."

"I wouldn't dream of it," Jeonghan replied with a grin as he gathered his new plants and headed toward the door. Before leaving, he paused, turning back to you with a look that was both charming and sincere. "Thanks for the help today. I'm looking forward to our coffee."

"So am I," you replied, your voice soft but steady, your heart fluttering slightly.

He stepped out, leaving a quiet thrill in his wake. This was more than just flowers or a project now-something genuine was blooming, as naturally as the plants you'd chosen together.
