Stacy's POV
"I mean it, Shay. I will NEVER accept the Northern Mountain Pack shits into this Pack. I don't care what the circumstances are. After all they've done, they deserve to be wiped out." I sneer at my big brother.
He snarls and shifts into his Wolf, as I do the same. The hallway clears out as we bite and tear into each other until Dad makes us stop.
"SHIFT. NOW." Dad commands, making us both shift back. The guards bring robes to the both of us. "Inside. Both of you." He points inside his office. "Ethan, son, please join us." His face softens when he looks at Ethan.
This fucking prick. I groan inwardly. Fucking Northern Mountain.
You need to calm down. My Wolf, Ella, says.
I roll my eyes and ignore her. We walk inside and I see Shay sit next to that piece of trash.
"I'm okay, Babycakes." He kisses the trash's hand and looks at Dad.
He is definitely not in a good mood right now. "You two." He pinches the bridge of his nose. "I have tried for so long to get you two to just be civil." He looks up, then looks between my face and Shay's. We're both covered in bruises and cuts. His lip is bleeding, and he has a black eye. My nose is bleeding, and my jaw is already bruising. "You are too old to be getting into fights like this."
"She pushed and insulted my Mate!" Shay growls, leaning forward to block Ethan from my view. Which is fine. I don't want to see him anyways.
"Because that Pack is nothing but trash!" I growl back, ready to fight him again.
"ENOUGH." Dad uses his Alpha command. We all bow our heads, forced to submit. After a few seconds, he releases it. "Stacy, you should know how to behave like an Alpha. This position requires diplomacy, and the restriction of biases. You have to keep your personal feelings out of your work. You have to do what's good for the Pack. Sometimes that contradicts what you feel would be best for you." He sighs, taking a breath before continuing. "And you can't just assume that every Pack Member is the same. How would you appreciate another Pack saying that you were the same as Shay in your views and opinions, without having met you first?" He pauses, letting me think about it. When he sees my lip curl, he continues. "Exactly. You wouldn't like it. So, for the next week, your Alpha Training is going to consist of diplomatic visits to the neighboring Packs. Your mother will accompany you." He nods to his wife, as she stands next to him.
I start to open my mouth to argue, but he cuts me off.
"The next words out of your mouth had better be, 'Yes, Alpha,' or I will make it a month, and increase the area to the entire state." He looks at me sternly.
I take a deep breath. "Yes, Alpha." I bow my head slightly. "May I leave?" I know better than to fight my father right now.
"Yes, you may." He nods.
I stand and leave silently. "Fucking trash." I seethe at the floor as I walk down the hallway. I hear Mom catching up to me and we walk silently until I see Dennis and his piece of trash from Northern Mountain. I glare at him before turning away.
"I saw that, young lady. And if you think I'm not telling your dad, you need to go back to primary school. You will be getting an increase in your punishment. At least three weeks." Mom says.
I huff and turn to go to the clinic. I'm seething the entire way there. When I get there, Dennis' sister Anna is sitting at the counter.
"Hey, Stace." She greets me. "Who'd you fight with?"
"Shay." I grunt, leaning on the counter. "The idiot has a human Mate and a Mate from the trash Pack."
"You should watch what you say, Stacy." She sighs softly. "You know it doesn't look good for the future Alpha to be calling other Packs 'trash.'"
"Well, Northern Mountain is trash." I huff, crossing my arms.
"I agree." A smaller woman in the waiting room says softly. I've never seen her before, and if I hadn't had my nose broken in that fight with Shay, I might have smelled her before I walked in.
"Who are you?" I ask, thoroughly intrigued. I walk over to her, my eyes firmly on hers.
"My name is Julie." She says shyly. "I... I was from that trash Pack."
"Oh." I say softly. I sit next to her. I can't take my eyes off of this beautiful woman.
Mate. Ella whispers reverently.
Julie's POV
"Take a seat, the doctor will call you back in a moment, hon." The nice receptionist tells me.
I didn't get many injuries in my escape from Northern Mountain. But I bumped my head pretty good. Being a smaller girl in my old Pack, meant I didn't get fed a lot. So, it took me a lot longer to heal. And the Pack doctor wouldn't look at me. He told me unless I had fulfilled my role and gotten pregnant, there was nothing he could do. But I'd never let someone who wasn't my Mate touch me. So, I ran away.
All of a sudden, I smelled a wonderful scent. Then a beautiful woman with a bloodied nose and bruised jaw walked up to the reception desk.
"Hey, Stace." The receptionist greets the gorgeous woman. "Who'd you fight with?"
"Shay." She grunts, leaning on the counter. "The idiot has a human Mate and a Mate from the trash Pack."
"You should watch what you say, Stacy." She sighs softly. "You know it doesn't look good for the future Alpha to be calling other Packs 'trash.'"
"Well, Northern Mountain is trash." Stacy huffs, crossing her arms.
"I agree." I whisper. I couldn't agree more. That place was awful.
"Who are you?" Stacy turns to me, wonder on her face. She walk over to me, her eyes never once leaving mine.
"My name is Julie." I say shyly. "I... I was from that trash Pack."
"Oh." She says softly, sitting next to me. She never looks away.
I look at her eyes as she sits next to me.
Mate. My Wolf, Christa says softly.
"You're..." Stacy whispers softly. Her nose starts visibly healing and she breathes in. "Oh, my Goddess." She drops her face in her hands. "Oh, my fucking Goddess." She groans.
"Told you." The receptionist laughs at her.
"Anna! Not funny!" Stacy whines, looking at her. "Now I have to actually apologize to Shay! I hate doing that!"
"You hate apologizing, period." Anna laughs.
"Exactly!" Stacy whines again, leaning her head back.
I gently place a hand over hers. "It's okay." I whisper quietly. "You can reject me if you want." I understand a female Alpha rejecting me. I can't give her pups. Or make her pregnant. I'm just... I'm nothing special. I can just lea-
"Who the fuck said anything about that?!" She growls as she looks at me in shock.
"Do... Do you not want to reject me?" I whisper, returning the look of shock.
"Fuck no!" She grasps my face in her hands. "You are the most gorgeous being on this fucking planet! I'd have to be out of my fucking mind to want to reject such a perfect woman!" After she finishes speaking, she slams her lips onto mine. "You are mine, Julie." She growls lowly, her eyes glowing as her Wolf confirms this.
"Yes, Alpha." I whisper, grinning at her.
"Fuck, that's hot." She groans, kissing me again.
