Don (voiceover, clips from the last episode play as he talks): Last time on the Ridonculous Race, New Zealand took many of our remaining teams on a roller coaster ride of highs and lows. Dwayne tried to impress his son with a tattoo- (sarcastically) cool!- that's for girls only. Noah and Emma hit a roadblock when she put the breaks on their romance. Ouch. But Devin went from super sad to super MAD and pulled the Best Friends up from the bottom three to fourth place! Someone's BOUND to be going home tonight! But who? Can't wait to find out on this episode of (zoom in on his face) the Ridonculous Race! (His teeth sparkle and the opening credits play)
Don (at the Chill Zone in New Zealand): Yesterday's Chill Zone is today's starting line. First to depart? The king and queen of ridonculous comebacks, the Ice Dancers. (They run up to the Don Box)
Ice Dancers (confessional)
Jacques (confidently): Two wins in a row! Five wins overall! We're not just back, we're on fire!
Josee (even more so): GOLDEN fire! And the competition's about to get BURNED!
Josee and Jacques mimic a sizzling fire.
End Confessional
Josee grabs a tip from the Don Box.
Josee (reading said tip): Go to Head-Smashed-In-Buffalo Jump!
Jacques (confused): Huh? Buffalo? Is that a place or a threat?
Don (nonchalantly): It's actually a little of both! (Cut to the Canadian flag, pictures are displayed) It's located here, along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada! Head-Smashed-In-Buffalo-Jump was going to be named Concussion Valley, but the name was already taken. (Cut to Don, leaning on a Don Box next to a country diner, wearing a cowboy hat) Teams must fly to Lethbridge, Alberta to this spot to receive their next travel tip!
The Ice Dancers run off as Devin and Carrie run up to the Don Box next.
Devin (determined): Yes! Let's do this! (Collects his tip)
Best Friends (confessional)
Devin (calmer now): I had a few, um, "minor outbursts" in New Zealand.
Carrie: Oh, you weren't that bad!
Devin: But don't worry! The rage has left the Devin!
Carrie (sighing in relief): Phew!
Devin: I'm not angry at Shelly for dumping me anymore! In fact- (desperately grabs the camera) I WANT YOU BACK, BABY! I'LL DO ANYTHING TO PROVE IT! I-I'LL CLIMB TO THE TOP OF A TREE!
He runs off and climbs a tree in the background, Carrie just slumps over in defeat.
Carrie (defeated): And hello to stage three of breaking up. Desperation.
A snap is heard and Devin screams as he falls down the tree.
Devin (in pain): Oh...
Carrie: Yeah, this is gonna be great.
End Confessional
(y/n) collects the next ticket.
(y/n) (joyful): Dude! We're going to a dude ranch!
Tyler: And we're dudes!
(y/n): We can't lose! It's in the bag!
Cut to Stephanie and Ryan, who're already ahead.
Stephanie: Dudes at a dude ranch? Pfft, that's fair.
Ryan: Maybe the next challenge will be something you're good at, like complaining! (Stephanie growls)
