Chapter 5

Happy update day! I have been editing this chapter for literally the last week, and this is the best out of all the versions I had. I'm not into this story as much as some of my other ones at the moment, but I hope that changes as I write more.

Seungmin was at the store, cart in hand. He decided to get a decent amount of fruits and vegetables to go along with the meat for his meals that he wanted for the week. "I hope Innie likes what I picked out." He said to himself, smiling at the thought of his roommate. He went to the next aisle, which had candy and cookies in it. He looked around and stared at two of his favorite snacks debating on which one he should get.

"You know, my favorite is the sour gummy worms." A voice said. Seungmin turned around real fast to see who the voice came from, and he locked eyes with a taller, handsome man. Probably a few years older than him, he had to guess. Damn, and I thought Innie was hot. This dude is definitely a catch. Not that Jeongin isn't hot, but this man definitely has 'daddy' vibes. Seungmin blushed at his thoughts.

The man looked at him with curiosity shining in his eyes. He smiled at the blush on the boy's cheeks and grabbed himself a bag of sour gummy worms.

Seungmin watched the man like he was moving in slow motion, not taking his eyes off of him for a second. He could have swore he heard a small "cute." Come from those luscious lips of his. Kim Seungmin! He scolded himself internally. He looked back at his options and grabbed a bag of candy, not caring what kind, and he power walked out of the aisle with his cart.

The man chuckled and went on his way with the candy in hand.

When Seungmin reached the checkout counter, he placed everything on the belt while the cashier started ringing things up. After he paid, he took his cart to the inside corral, and he loaded his backpack with the bags of food. It was kind of heavy, but Seungmin could manage as it was only a 10 minute walk back to the dorm.

It must've been the extra weight he was carrying, but Seungmin felt like the walk took more than 10 minutes. Man, I should probably start working out or something, he thought. He finally made it to his dorm room and was in the kitchen quickly putting the groceries away.

Once he was finished, he stretched out on the couch on his stomach and brought a pillow under his head. His eye lids were getting droopy when he remembered he needed to text Jeongin. He slowly pulled out his phone and lazily started texting.

Seungmin:
Made it home

That should do it, he thought. He took a really long blink and then passed out from exhaustion.

After Chan and Changbin got home from getting snacks, Jisung dragged them into the living room with the premise of, "Innie wants to talk." Chan and Changbin's faces grew serious, and they hurried to the living room.

Chan went straight to the youngest and sat right beside him. "Is everything okay, Innie?" He cupped his boyfriend's cheek. Jeongin nodded but didn't say anything. He was a bit shy over it all. He looked to Jisung to see if he could start.

"Do you want me to talk first, baby?" Jisung asked.

A quiet "please" could be heard from Jeongin. Chan pulled the younger into his lap and rubbed his back.

Everyone sat around Chan and Jeongin, either on the couch or floor.

Jisung got comfortable and started speaking, "So, first of all, I think I know why Innie doesn't want to be treated like a baby anymore." He got curious looks from everyone but Minho as he figured it out during their conversation earlier. "He has a little crush on his roommate, and from what he told me, it sounds like this boy is more of a baby type than Jeongin. Also, Innie said he wanted to take care of him." Jisung smiled at his boyfriends, who were all listening intently.
