Jungkook tightened his grip on his bobba tea, trying his best to ignore the unsettling presence of the man who’d pulled up in front of him. The man’s gaze lingered a bit too long, and his voice carried a tone that made Jungkook’s skin crawl. He looked around, hoping Taehyung would arrive soon, feeling a bit more vulnerable as dusk settled over the street outside the studio.

"Hey, little boy," the man called out again, trying to sound friendly but only coming across as more unnerving. "Need a ride? I can take you wherever you want to go."

Jungkook took a small, nervous sip of his tea, keeping his eyes down and subtly inching away from the man’s car. He didn’t respond, hoping silence would make him lose interest. But the man leaned forward in his seat, a persistent look on his face. "Come on, pretty. Don’t be shy. I can give you a ride."

Jungkook’s heart began to beat faster, an uneasy feeling settling in his stomach. Just then, he spotted Taehyung’s familiar car turning onto the street. Relief flooded through him, and he almost sighed out loud. As Taehyung’s car pulled up beside him, Jungkook quickly made his way over, giving the man one last wary glance.

The moment Taehyung saw Jungkook’s tense expression, his brows knit together in concern. “Kookie, are you okay?” he asked, his voice gentle but protective.

Jungkook nodded, quickly slipping into the passenger seat and closing the door. “Yeah, hyung, I just… got a little creeped out by that guy.” He gestured subtly towards the man, who was now eyeing Taehyung’s car before reluctantly driving off.

Taehyung’s eyes narrowed as he glanced after the retreating vehicle, a fierce protectiveness rising within him. He reached over, placing a reassuring hand on Jungkook’s shoulder. "You did the right thing by ignoring him. If anyone makes you uncomfortable, you don’t owe them anything, okay?"

Jungkook smiled, feeling a sense of safety return now that he was with Taehyung. "Thanks, hyung. I knew you’d be here soon."

Without a word, Taehyung leaned over and gently tugged Jungkook into a comforting hug, pulling him close. "Always, bobba. I’m never too far away." He pulled back just enough to study Jungkook’s face, brushing his thumb over his cheek as if to reassure himself that Jungkook was truly okay.

Jungkook chuckled, feeling the warmth of Taehyung’s caring gaze. "You’re like my personal bodyguard."

Taehyung grinned, the tension melting away. "Anything for my bobba." And with that, he ruffled Jungkook’s hair playfully before starting the car, ready to take him home safely, where he belonged.

Taehyung glanced at Jungkook, his gaze softening as he saw his bobba sipping the familiar bobba tea. The corner of his mouth quirked into a smile, always fond of seeing Jungkook with his tea, the one little thing that seemed to make everything better. He was about to tease him for being so obsessed with the drink when Jungkook’s voice broke the moment.

"How was the photoshoot, bobba?" Taehyung asked, his voice laced with genuine curiosity.

Jungkook looked up from his drink, his eyes bright with excitement. "Yes, hyungie, it was good! I did well, and my clients liked it." He took another sip of his bobba tea, his usual sweet smile tugging at his lips. It was clear he was proud of the work he’d done, and Taehyung could tell by the sparkle in his eyes that the shoot had gone smoothly.

Then Jungkook’s expression faltered for a brief moment, and Taehyung noticed the slight hesitation. "Uhm, hyungie," Jungkook continued, his voice growing quieter, "actually... mumma asked if we... that... we..."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, sensing the shift in Jungkook's mood. He put his hand gently on Jungkook’s to reassure him, his fingers brushing over his knuckles as he waited for him to finish.
