Taehyung was already a whipped man before, but now? Now, with Jungkook growing even cuter by the day, his soft penguin-like puffiness making him look like the most precious creature on earth? Taehyung was utterly, hopelessly, completely gone for his bobba.
Jungkook had officially wrapped up his South Korea tourism project, leaving him with more free time. Well, he still worked occasionally, but not as frequently motherhood made him tire easily. His body had become softer, his cheeks rounder, and his waddle-like steps even more endearing. He was the epitome of pure adorableness, and Taehyung, like the doting husband he was, made sure to pamper his bobba every chance he got.
Of course, Jungkook still drank his beloved bobba tea. That would never change. The only difference now? The bizarre combinations. Sometimes, just watching Jungkook mix flavors together made Taehyung's stomach churn, but for his precious bobba, he endured everything. Even when Jungkook happily sipped his blueberry-bobba-tea-with-pickle-juice while sighing in satisfaction, Taehyung only smiled, kissed his forehead, and let him enjoy it.
But no matter how cute and bubbly Jungkook was, there were things about him that never changed. His deep-rooted insecurities, his tendency to get anxious over the smallest things, his endless supply of "what ifs" spilling out like a rap when he worried those were all still part of him. Jungkook was someone who jumped when he was happy, who clutched onto Taehyung's sleeve when he was nervous, who treated bobba tea like oxygen, and who lived in his own little world of innocence and wonder.
And Taehyung? Taehyung wouldn't change a single thing.
His bobba was perfect just the way he was.
____________
The newest, tiniest addition to their lives arrived with soft wails and chubby cheeks, instantly stealing both their hearts. Jungkook cried big, wobbly tears because Taehyung, the meanie, refused to name their daughter Kim Bubbles.
"But Hyungie," Jungkook sniffled, cradling the tiny bundle in his arms, "she's so cute, just like a little bubble. Why can't we name her Kim Bubbles?"
Taehyung chuckled, pressing a soft kiss to Jungkook's forehead. "Because, my love, she needs a name she can carry with pride. Bubbles is a nickname, not a name."
Jungkook pouted dramatically, hugging their baby closer. "Fine. But I'm still calling her Bubble forever."
Taehyung shook his head fondly before glancing at their daughter, her tiny fingers wrapped around Jungkook's pinky. "How about Kim Areum?" he suggested.
Jungkook blinked, looking down at their baby girl. "Areum... means beautiful, right?"
Taehyung nodded. "Because she's the most beautiful gift we could ever receive."
Jungkook's pout melted into a soft smile, his eyes glistening with emotion. "Kim Areum," he whispered, testing the name before nodding happily. "Okay, but I'm still calling her Bubble."
Taehyung sighed, already knowing he had lost this battle. "Fine, fine. But at least she'll have a beautiful name for the rest of the world."
And just like that, their little Kim Areum forever Bubble to Jungkook became the most precious part of their lives.
____________
Time flowed like a gentle stream, and before they knew it, their tiny Bubble Kim Areum was now a bubbly three-year-old, bouncing around their home with the same boundless energy as her mama.
Jungkook, forever dramatic, never let a day pass without whining to Taehyung, "Hyungie, why does Bubbles look exactly like you? It's unfair! I carried her for months, and she couldn't even get a little bit of my face?"
