Taehyung came downstairs after tucking Jungkook into bed, his heart feeling full after seeing his precious bobba sleeping so peacefully. He smiled to himself as he picked up Jungkook’s coat and bag that had been left sprawled on the living room floor. As he tidied up, his eyes landed on the chocolate box sitting on the table.
Initially, Taehyung thought it was just a token of appreciation from one of Jungkook’s clients. After all, his bobba’s talent and adorableness were hard to resist. He picked up the box to place it neatly on the counter, but something unusual caught his eye a card sticking out from under the lid.
Curious, Taehyung pulled out the card and started reading. His eyebrows furrowed, and his playful smile faded as he took in the words:
Jungkook-shi,
The day I saw you months ago during fashion week I knew you were the one for me. Please, if you accept me and my feelings, contact me at the number below.
With lots of love,
Min Seok.Taehyung’s jaw tightened as he reread the card, his eyes narrowing. The one for me? He scoffed internally. How dare this "Min Seok" try to confess to his Jungkook? The audacity to send such a bold message with chocolates, knowing Jungkook was already taken, was infuriating.
Taehyung’s grip on the card tightened as a protective instinct surged within him. "You’ve got some nerve," he muttered under his breath, glaring at the card. He considered throwing it away right then and there but decided against it. Jungkook deserved to know about this and Taehyung trusted his bobba entirely. He was sure Jungkook wasn’t aware of the card’s contents, judging by how obliviously he had placed the box on the table.
Taking a deep breath to calm himself, Taehyung set the chocolate box and card aside. He wouldn’t let this ruin their evening. For now, he’d ensure his bobba got the rest he needed, but tomorrow, they would talk about it. And if necessary, Taehyung would ensure Min Seok understood exactly who Jungkook belonged to once and for all.
Smiling to himself, Taehyung headed to the kitchen to prepare some warm tea for when Jungkook woke up. Even in his frustration, his love for Jungkook remained his priority. After all, no one could come between him and his bobba.

Jungkook stirred awake, the enticing aroma of kimchi fried rice wafting through the air. His stomach grumbled as his mouth watered, and he quickly got out of bed, eager to see what was cooking. After a quick bath, Jungkook found himself reaching for one of Taehyung’s oversized shirts from his husband’s side of the wardrobe. It was comforting and smelled like Taehyung, which made Jungkook smile shyly to himself.
He slipped it on, the fabric hanging loose on his petite frame, and padded downstairs, waddling like the cute bobba he was. His fluffy hair was slightly damp, and his doe eyes were sparkling with excitement as he followed the delicious smell.
When he reached the kitchen, the sight before him made him pause, his heart skipping a beat. There was Taehyung, his hyungie, standing by the stove, focused on his cooking. His sleeves were rolled up, revealing those gorgeous veiny arms Jungkook secretly adored. Taehyung’s brow furrowed slightly as he sautéed vegetables in a pan, the glow of the stovelight highlighting his sharp jawline and serene expression.
Jungkook tilted his head, admiring his husband’s domestic side, and unconsciously let out a soft, "Wow."
Hearing the sound, Taehyung turned, catching sight of his adorable bobba standing by the doorway in his shirt, looking like a fluffy dream. A grin spread across Taehyung’s face as he wiped his hands on a towel and called, "Good morning, sleepyhead. Did the smell wake you up?"
Jungkook nodded, waddling closer. "Hyungie, it smells so good. Are you making more than kimchi fried rice?"
Taehyung chuckled, reaching out to ruffle Jungkook’s hair. "I am. I’m also making egg rolls and some grilled fish. Thought my bobba deserved a feast after working so hard yesterday."
Jungkook’s cheeks turned a soft pink, and he pouted. "Hyungie, you always spoil me…"
"Of course I do," Taehyung replied smoothly, pulling Jungkook into a warm hug. He tilted Jungkook’s chin up and kissed his forehead. "You’re my everything, bobba. Watching you eat happily makes me the happiest."
Jungkook giggled, burying his face in Taehyung’s chest. "Hyungie, you’re so cheesy."
"And you love it," Taehyung teased, giving Jungkook’s nose a light boop before guiding him to the dining table. "Now sit tight. Breakfast will be ready in five minutes."
Jungkook happily obliged, his heart swelling with love as he watched his husband finish cooking, feeling like the luckiest bobba in the world.
~~~~~~~~~~
Taehyung plated the last dish, a satisfied smile on his face as he turned to check on Jungkook. However, when he glanced at the dining table, his bobba was nowhere to be seen. Taehyung chuckled softly, already guessing where Jungkook might have wandered off to. "This mischievous little bunny," he muttered fondly, wiping his hands on a towel as he headed toward the living room.
As Taehyung stepped in, he paused, his heart sinking at the sight before him. Jungkook was sitting on the couch, his small hands clutching the chocolate box from yesterday. His wide, doe eyes brimmed with unshed tears as he stared at the card tucked inside, looking completely lost. Taehyung’s sharp eyes immediately recognized the card the one he had read last night.
Jungkook’s lips trembled, his soft sniffles audible as he mumbled to himself. "What if Hyungie read this? What if he thinks I… that I encouraged this? What if he thinks I’m unfaithful?" His shoulders quivered as his head dipped lower, his thoughts spiraling.
Taehyung’s heart clenched. He couldn’t stand seeing his precious bobba like this, especially when there was no need for such worry. Taking a steady breath, he strode over and knelt in front of Jungkook.
"Bobba," Taehyung called softly, his deep voice filled with warmth.
Jungkook’s head snapped up, his teary eyes meeting Taehyung’s. "H-Hyungie…" he stammered, trying to hide the card behind his back.
Taehyung gently cupped Jungkook’s face, his thumbs brushing away the tears that spilled down his cheeks. "Why are you crying, love?" he asked, his tone soothing.
Jungkook hesitated, his gaze darting away. "I… I didn’t mean for this to happen. I don’t know why he sent this. Hyungie, I swear—"
Taehyung silenced him with a tender kiss on the forehead. "Shh, bobba. I already know about the card. I saw it last night."
Jungkook’s eyes widened. "Y-You did?"
Taehyung nodded, his gaze steady and filled with love. "Yes, and I didn’t even think for a second that you had anything to do with it. I trust you, Jungkookie. Completely. You’re mine, and I know your heart belongs to me, just as mine belongs to you."
Jungkook sniffled, his lips quivering. "B-But what if you got upset? What if—"
Taehyung interrupted with another kiss, this time on Jungkook’s trembling lips. "No ‘what ifs,’ love. I’m not upset, and I never will be. That man’s words mean nothing to me because I know the truth. You love me, and I love you. That’s all that matters."
Jungkook finally broke into a shy smile, his tears replaced with a soft blush. "Hyungie… you’re too sweet," he murmured, leaning into Taehyung’s touch.
Taehyung chuckled, pressing their foreheads together. "And you’re too precious, bobba. Now come on, breakfast is ready. Let’s forget about this card and enjoy our morning together, okay?"
Jungkook nodded, allowing Taehyung to pull him up and guide him to the dining table. And just like that, the heavy cloud of worry lifted, leaving only love and comfort in its place.
