I couldn’t sleep.

I was fidgeting, standing outside his apartment, and scared as hell that I was gonna lose him.

I was sure he got the video.

I needed to explain to him cause he might’ve taken it out of context.

He wasn’t answering any of my calls. Von never missed my calls and not call me back.

I took a deep breath and knocked on the door after pacing there for a while.

The door opened, and I was met with a girl, wearing a skimpy outfit. My heart dropped.

“Who the fuck are you?” I scrunched my face, crossing my arms.

“So much violence in the morning and for what?” She rolled her eyes.

“What you doing at my mans, bitch?”

“Oh, you must be the ex. Hi, I’m Rory.” She smiled, trying to hug me but I stepped back.

I smacked my lips, mugging her, and pushed her out of my way, walking inside.

I headed to Von’s bedroom and switched on the light but found him still sleeping.

I looked around the room, and it was a dead give away they did nothing. I sighed in relief.

I didn’t wanna wake him cause he looked so at peace sleeping and he hates being woken up.

I frowned and kissed him on the cheek before walking back to the kitchen to confront the girl.

But she was nowhere to be seen.

She must’ve run away cause I was ready to throw hands even though I ain’t about that life.

I huffed and went to lie down on the couch, where I was gonna wait until Von woke up.

I was woken up by the sound of the TV playing and saw Von sitting next to me on the couch

I was woken up by the sound of the TV playing and saw Von sitting next to me on the couch.

I sat up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. I was tryna act cool but I was tense.

“Morning babe.” I greeted nervously, turning to face him.

“Hey.” He furrowed his eyebrows. “What you doing here?”

I chuckled, scratching my head, and looked down. Should I wait for him to bring it up?

“I tried calling you yesterday, and you weren’t picking up any of my calls, so...”

“O-kay.”

He nodded and looked back at the TV, as he gulped down a bottle of lemon water.

“Where were you?” I asked.

“Out, as you can see, I got a hangover.”

“Why ain’t you call me back?”

“You asking hella questions like you tryna get at some. Speak your mind.”

“Well, I am. Who’s that hoodrat I found up in here in the morning?”

“My ex-girlfriend.”

I choked on air and my eyes got wide.

“Roll that back.”

“You heard me, and we was talking bout getting back together too.” He shrugged nonchalantly.

I froze and exhaled, looking at him taken aback.

“I’m guessing you saw the-”

“I’m done with you, Lakaela. Why don’t you just get the fuck out,” he said lowly, cutting me off.

“Baby, please I can explain.”

“I don’t wanna hear it.”

“But-”

“Get the fuck outta my apartment,” he yelled causing me to flinch.

I stood up from the couch and kneeled in front of him as tears filled my eyes.

“I made a mistake Trevon, and I am so sorry.”
