The journey back to the hotel took longer than expected, largely due to the heavy traffic and the hustleand bustle of the rush hour. In the car were my friendsPeachy, Ava, Ming, May, Summer, and Chloe. The atmosphere was rowdy, filled with the sound of our chattering voices as stories about our day were shared. It was a great feeling, having everyone together, sharing this special moment after the excitement of our recent experience.

Summer suddenly broke into the conversation with a burst of excitement, exclaiming, "I can't believe that we all made the first cut!" Her voice was filled with enthusiasm, her eyes glistening with joy. There was an energy in the car that one could hardly ignore.

"I know!" May replied, her excitement matching Summer's. Her joy was palpable, and her contagious smile lit up the space, making everyone feel even more uplifted.

I turned to Peachy, feeling compelled to give her a compliment. "You did so good, Peachy!" My voice was full of admiration at how impressive her performance had been.

Peachy caught my gaze and said a humble, "Thanks."Her soft, comforting smile gave away how much my words meant, adding to the celebratory ambiance inthe car.

As we moved along with the traffic of cars, our chirpingcontinued to add to the noise outside. We talked about what happened that day and encouraged each other asreally good friends.

When we returned to the hotel, we congregated in the meeting room. Isabel stood at the front, clearly ready to say something to us. She patiently waited for everyone to take their seats and composition of noise before she started to speak.

"Okay, I'll make this quick because I know you're all feeling hungry after a long day," she said, her voice clear and steady. "If you made the cut, you are free to head back to your rooms where you can order room service, visit the lounge, or go out to a restaurant or get takeout. The choice is yours. Just remember that breakfast is being served from 7:00 to 8:30, and it's free."

With curiosity about what was next asked, "What's the plan?"

Summer quickly chimed in with a bright suggestion, "Let's just go to one of our rooms and make a plan there." Everybody agreed and nodded in unison with great vigor.

Peachy then added, "How about mine?" Her proposal was met with immediate enthusiasm, and it didn't take long for us to reach a consensus.

We all trooped into the room shared by Peachy andSummer, bubbling with excitement as we thoughtabout the fun we were going to have.

"Okay, what do you guys want for dinner?" Peachy asked, thrilled to take charge.

"Takeout!" Ava called out, eager to have something quick and tasty.

"Room service!" Chloe chimed in, willing to be served atthe door.

"Takeout!" Ming shouted, clearly all for heading out for food.

"Room service!" May called out, wanting the same option easily as Chloe did.

"Why don't we do a vote?" Summer suggested, wanting to make sure everyone had a say.

Everyone nodded in agreement and prepared to vote.

"Okay, if you want takeout, say 'I'," Summer explained, taking charge with the voting.

"I!" Peachy said with confidence.

"I!" Ava echoed excitedly.

"I!" I exclaimed, the excitement building.

"I!" Ming said, equally as excited as us.

"Alright, takeout it is, then!" Summer said triumphantly. "Anyone have any suggestions?"

"Pizza!" May said, her eyes lighting up at images of cheesy goodness.

"Chick-fil-A!" I exclaimed, promptly hankering for their savory chicken.

"The Cheesecake Factory!" Peachy said, bringing backmemories of just how delicious their desserts were.

"Yes, yes! I haven't been to the Cheesecake Factory in ages!" Ming exclaimed, her face filled with longing.

"Cheesecake Factory!" Ava agreed, making the chorusunanimous.

"Cheesecake Factory!" I echoed excitedly, anxious to gothere.

"Okay, I think it's the Cheesecake Factory it is," Summer confirmed with a big smile.

We immediately ordered food, and in no time, lots offood were delivered right into the hotel room shared by Peachy and Summer. We started eating, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter and lively conversations. Each food was so great, and I took moments to savor each flavor while being fully engaged in the joyful discussions around me.

We remained together for the rest of the night after dinner, enjoying the ease of being with friends. Our conversations flowed effortlessly as we sharedmemories of past experiences and made exciting plans for gatherings in the future.

The evening wore on, and the time arrived to sleep. Chloe and I hastened to get ready for bed, moving through our evening routine with ease. When we were ready, Chloe turned out the light and the room fell into a soft darkness. The events of the day weighed on me, and in no time I could feel the gentle pull of sleep. Iclosed my eyes and drifted off in contentment and peace after a fulfilling day spent with friends.
