I slowly opened my eyes and sat up in bed. "Are you awake?" I asked, my voice still thick with sleep.

"Noooo," came the muffled response from Chloe, who had her face buried in the pillow. She sounded completely wiped out. I could feel the weight of my own exhaustion, having not gotten nearly enough rest the night before. The bed was incredibly cozy, and I didn't want to leave its warmth. Still, Chloe's laughter broke the spell, and I reluctantly swung my legs over the side of the bed.

Chloe and I began preparing for the day ahead. As we went through our morning routines, the excitement bubbled up in our conversation. Chloe focused on her skincare, carefully applying each product, then moved on to her makeup and hair, making sure everything was just right. Meanwhile, I rummaged through my accessories, deciding on a lovely crystal necklace that would add a nice touch to my outfit. Chloe had chosen a cute little blue top that looked great on her. Time was ticking, and soon we knew we needed to be ready.

Finally, we made our way to the dining hall. The atmosphere was lively, with a few other people scattered around, as well as some dogs that seemed to be enjoying the surrounding commotion. A couple of cameramen were positioned strategically in the room, filming as we entered. I noticed two familiar faces, Peachy and Ming, and it seemed like everyone had formed one, two, or even three alliances since our arrival.

"Hi, everyone! I hope you all had a restful night here because our work begins now!" Isabel announced with enthusiasm. "Today, you will be meeting with others to get to know each other better. After breakfast, we will gather in the meeting room. Please bring your computer with you if you do not have one. Please yet me know Now, let's eat!"

I quickly moved to grab our food, just like last time. There was an impressive spread laid out, with a variety of breakfast options including eggs, bacon, pancakes, bagels, and much more.

After stacking our plates, I found a place to sit. The cameramen were walking around, checking in with different pups, asking how their experiences had been so far and what they thought of their first day.

As I looked around, I noticed Honey and some other pups who hadn't made the first cut were missing. Confused, I started counting to see how many were no longer there.

"Then they're gone!" May exclaimed, her voice rising with surprise.

The cameras completed their rounds, leaving us to our own conversations for a moment. I felt a bit unsettled by how quickly the pups had left. I had assumed they would stick around for breakfast, but it seemed some had departed during the night or very early in the morning.

The eggs and bacon on my plate were utterly delightful. The bacon was a sweet variety that melted in my mouth, while the eggs were perfectly soft. I took a bite of a fresh strawberry, enjoying the burst of flavor.

"How's your food?" Ava asked as she joined us.

"So good!" I replied, savoring each bite. "How about you?"

"Amazing!" Ava exclaimed back, a smile lighting up her face. After finishing our breakfast, we knew it was time to head to the meeting room.

"Okay, everyone," Isabel began when we all gathered. "The next competition is at the end of this month. But here's the deal: you have choices to make about where you want to live and where you will compete. You will need to create new accounts for this. Just remember, you cannot promote your old accounts to your new ones. One you find you have a place in mind I will give more details. Please let me know if you have any questions]

Excitement filled the air as everyone talked animatedly about their dream places to live. There was a palpable energy, mixed with laughter and ideas. Dogs barked while people shared their thoughts, and the conversation flowed naturally.
