SALOME ALAN•

The group chat was choked with messages. Prom is in two days, and I've never seen my classmates got along, and corporate this easily because of the afterparty thingy. They literally came together, bursting my phone with tickets, stickers, and outfits.

Taiye already got tickets for us before I could intrude. Zara also persuaded me, now I have no excuse but to go. I told Mr. Alex about it, and he also supported, like completely!

I roll over to my side on the bed as I stroll through my class group chat, my mind trailing back to spending the night at Mr.Alexs'

"And make sure to come with your date," I read out, taking a deep breath. "Hmm, wonder how they would feel if I show up with Mr. Alex." I blush at my words, instantly getting a text notification from him. I should change the way I saved this contact.

Mr. Alex; would you mind spending the evening with me? There's somewhere I'd like us to go. (love emoji inserted)

I flare up from my bed, grinning as I reply with a long 'yesssss.' Ever since I admitted how I feel, I've always looked forward to spending time with Mr. Alex. He's just a gentleman and all a girl could ever want.

My wardrobe gets littered with scattered clothes as I scan through for a cute fit for the evening. I pull at my bottom lip, standing with my hands on my waist as I stare at the bunch of clothes. I can't seem to settle with one.

After what seem like forever, I grab the peach colored dress, white shirt collar attached to the neck area, with long sleeves. It stops above my knee, and fits just perfectly on my body. I beam at my reflection in the mirror as I wrap my hair with a huge claw clip, leaving tendrils to fall around my face.

With a splash of perfume and lip gloss, I make sure to take pictures. While admiring myself, smiling from ear to ear, my phone dings on my bed.

Mr. Alex; I'm downstairs.

The doorbell dings afterwards, promoting my eyes off my phone to my closed bedroom door. I squeeze my phone to my chest, hurriedly pick up my white thin hand bag and blurt out of my room.

I walk down the stairs elegantly, ducking my head to see Mr. Alex. He's seated on the couch, speaking with Maria. I pause on the stairs, openly admiring his brown button up shirt and pants. Must be a two piece.

Like he knows I'm staring, his eyes softly glide to me. I stiffen in my stance, my hands gripping my bag strap tighter. Maria notices and turn to me, her eyes beaming.

"Wow Salome," She sings, while I make my way down to meet them. "You look so pretty."

I glance down my outfit with a smile, looking up instantly. "Thank you, mom." I whisper, pausing my glossed lips as Maria throws a look between me and Mr. Alex who can't seem to stop staring at me. Maria stylishly leaves the sitting room, and I didn't miss the look she gave Mr. Alex, the look of 'I trust you.'

"Hey..." I put some hair behind my ear.

Mr. Alex gets on his feet, his towering height almost making me step back. He draws a breath, and tilt his head to my size. I look into his honey eyes, down to his lips.

"Salome Alan Kimberly, you're trying to make me speecheless but guess what," His lips bridges just above my ear, causing shivers up my spin. "You succeeded." He whispers, standing upright to give me another long look.

"Didn't know you knew my name is Kimberly." I catch his honey eyes, bobbing my head to the side.

Mr. Alex chuckles, taking my hand. We walk toward the door, and he pulls the door opened for us to step out.
