"Jace, wake up." I'm really getting tired of people trying to wake me up when I just want to sleep. "Come on baby. You need to get up." Sienna. My eyes snap open and pull her into a hug so tight she giggles. I'm back in my old room again, with Sienna in my arms.
"There's my sleepy head." That smile of hers gets me every time. Running her fingers through my hair. I relish in her touch, but the guilt eats away at me for what happened last night. I know I shouldn't have kissed Jess. Let's just pray I do not screw it up this time around.
"I'm sorry, love." Kissing the crook of her neck. "I don't want to lose you." I know I will have to at some point, but not now. I am going to take Jess's advice and cherish these moments.
"What's going on Jace?" Pulling away the concern in her eyes almost has me confessing my sins, but I know she will not understand.
"Just a bad dream that I lost you." I hate lying to her but it's for the best.
"You won't, I promise."
"You can't promise that!" I snap. I shouldn't but my emotions are running high as I move her off of me and get out of bed.
"You're right." Whipping my head to meet her eyes. She walks over to me and cups my cheeks. "I can promise you this. I will love you until my dying breath." My lips claim hers and hold her tight until she pushes me away giggling.
"We are going to be late again, if we don't stop this."
"Then we will be late. I need you so damn bad." Lifting her shirt over her head she doesn't protest as I lay her back down on my bed. "I love you." I breathe out like a prayer and show her just how much, as I worship her body just as I did the first time that we lost ourselves to one another.
We were definitely late to school, but I didn't care. I have done this so many times that it's become tedious by now, and well worth the glare from my teacher as I walked into the classroom. Jess eyes meet mine for a moment but then she looks away. That's weird. I brushed it off for now and will talk to her about it later. The day went by quickly and going exceptionally well except Jess was avoiding us all day.
What the hell is going on?
"Jace, do you know what's going on with Jess?" Sienna asks as I catch up with her on our way out of school.
"I don't know. I haven't seen much of her." I sling my arm over her shoulder as we walk to my car.
"It's weird. She wouldn't even sit with us at lunch. I hope everything is okay." Me too. We spot Jess and the moment she makes eye contact with us she turns the other way. I am not liking this at all. "I'll call her later. It's obvious she doesn't want to talk right now." She sighs as she gets in the car. "Can you drop me off at my house?"
"I thought you were coming over."
"My parents complain that I practically live at your place. So, I'm going to spend some time with them."
"I understand." Dropping off my girl we make out for a few minutes until her father glares at us from the front door. "He still doesn't like me."
"He loves you. Dad is just acting like he is tough." Tapping on his watch, Sienna laughs and kisses my cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow."
I sure hope so. Waving bye, I take off towards my place, the moment I step in I can smell the sweet aromas from the kitchen.
"Smells good. What are you cooking ma?"
Mom yelps as she spins around and glares at me. "You startled me, Jace." Smiling sheepishly, she slaps the dishtowel on my shoulder. "I'm making your favorite." I hug her startling her again before placing the plates on the table. "What's going on sweetheart?"
