Rosaline quietly shut the door of her youngest child's bedroom who she had finally gotten to get some respite. Over the past decades Rosaline and Anthony had a total of 5 children. Their youngest was Alexander who was 6, their fourth born was Mary who was 8, their third born was Amelia who was 14, their second born was Edmund Jr. who was 16 and their eldest was Daisy whop had just turned 18. Daisy's debut was tomorrow and remembering how Anthony acted during Daphne's season...she knew he would be an absolute wreck.

As she walked down the halls trying to find him she heard what sounded like crying coming from Anthony;'s office.

'One of the children must have awoken' she thought to herself as she opened the door

But as the doors opened she did not see one of her children, she saw her husband.

"Anthony-"

"Rosaline, please do not come near me I cannot bare for you to see me like this"

"I am your wife...If anyone shall see you like this it should be me"

She walked over and saw him staring at a miniature painting of Daisy that Benedict had done

"My little girl is all grown up...and I am here to witness it. My father- he never got this opportunity....to walk any of my sisters for their debut..and I am awarded the privilege"

"I am unsure if these tears you shed are happy or sad ones my dear"

"They are both" he said as he shot her a sad smile "They are tears for what could have been but what will be"

She smiled

"I am sure your father is proud"

"I am positive yours is too" Anthony remarked as he sat down the painting and stood up "You are an amazing mother, an amazing person, and a friend to all....You are even more beloved than the queen herself"

Rosaline laughed

"I do not believe I shall give myself that much credit-"

"Then allow me to"

"Well your father would be extremely proud of the man you have become. When I first met you...you were constantly burying yourself in your works and you did not care for love of any sort...but as time went on I watched you change. You loved, you lost, and you laughed. You have been an amazing father and husband...for the most part" she smirked

"Hey!"

"I only joke with you my love"

She wrapped her arms around his neck and just stared at him for a bit

"I do not think I am ready for her to be grown up Rosaline" he said with a sad expression

"Me neither...but we shall do it anyways...and pretend we are ready"

"Fine...but no man shall ever be good enough for her."

"Lord save her" she said with a smile
