"This..." thought Cain, as he looked at the data for this Mismagius. Inside, he felt as if a stampede of Tauros was running through his mind.

Why did this Level 64 Mismagius appear here? Had Umbra discovered it last time he was here?

Cain was in a desperate situation, with no chance of resisting her. Even though Slowpoke could use Teleport, it wouldn't be of any use against this Mismagius.

For instance, Mismagius had entered Slowpoke's energy field without making the slightest sound.

Maybe Slowpoke had sensed something, which was why he tugged on his pants, but he couldn't defend himself.

What did a Level 64 Mismagius with a dark blue quality mean?

In his previous life, Cain had been a quasi-elite trainer, so he knew this well.

The level system was actually a classification method Cain had developed for himself. In the Pokémon world, there are instruments capable of measuring levels, but most people don't bother checking their Pokémon's levels.

Instead, they judge a Pokémon's strength by its presence and appearance, but Cain, thanks to his system, could see levels more directly.

A Level 64 Pokémon was already in the initial elite level range, just one step away from mid-elite level.

A Pokémon over Level 30 could grant its trainer Captain rank status in Team Rocket, Cain's current level. We're not talking about a single Pokémon, but five or six Pokémon at that level, which defines a Captain's strength.

When Pokémon reach Level 40, the trainer usually ascends to Officer rank in Team Rocket.

Of course, the higher a Pokémon's level, the harder it is to level up, and the gap between levels becomes larger.

But it's not only the level that matters; the quality of a Pokémon is also considered.

A Level 50 Pokémon is considered in the quasi-elite range, and in his previous life, Cain reached that level with five Pokémon, qualifying him as a quasi-elite level trainer.

Starting at Level 50, the growth rate slows down even more, and at Level 59, a turning point is reached. Cain didn't know exactly what happened at that point, but he had heard some elite-level trainers talk about it.

He believed this was related to the Pokémon's quality.

This was his personal theory, but he would have to reach that level himself to confirm it.

For that reason, although there were many quasi-elite trainers in Team Rocket, elite-level trainers were rare.

A Pokémon reaching Level 60 was already considered an elite Pokémon.

This Level 60 range applied to Pokémon with an aptitude above light blue.

Even if it was the lowest range of elite Pokémon, the difference between these and quasi-elite level Pokémon was significant.

Every ten levels marked a major change in a Pokémon's power.

In the lower levels, these differences weren't as noticeable, but starting at Level 60, the difference became increasingly pronounced.

So, this Mismagius that had appeared in Slowpoke's energy field, at Level 64, was undoubtedly an elite-level Pokémon.

Specifically, an initial elite-level Pokémon.

But even if it was at the initial level, Cain had no choice but to submit to it.

Cain said nothing, very tense, gripping the Dusk Stone fragment in his hand as he looked at the Mismagius in front of him.

For her part, Mismagius did nothing, simply watching Cain with curiosity in her eyes.

And so, they stared at each other for five minutes without moving.

They could have continued like this, but at that moment, Slowpoke couldn't take it anymore. The psychic energy within him was nearly depleted, and the energy field could no longer be maintained.

He wanted to use Teleport, but he realized that Mismagius's presence prevented him from sensing the coordinates he had marked earlier.

With no other choice, Slowpoke directed his remaining energy to the energy field, shrinking it to minimize consumption.

Cain noticed Slowpoke's actions but had no solution.

"This Mismagius is strange," Cain thought after five minutes of staring at her.

"It's as if she doesn't have advanced intelligence."

Because in Mismagius's eyes, Cain saw nothing. Her eyes were as calm as water, showing only curiosity and a faint hint of... joy?

Joy?

"Ahem... Mismagius, hello," Cain finally said. If he didn't speak soon, once Slowpoke's energy field disappeared, they wouldn't be able to withstand the intense ghost energy in the air.

"Miiis~~!" replied Mismagius, with an ethereal voice.

They couldn't communicate.

"Slowpoke, can you still use telepathy?"

Upon hearing this, Slowpoke shrank the energy field even more, and Cain had to crouch to stay within it.

Finally, with great effort, Slowpoke managed to telepathically connect with Mismagius.

"Tell her that if the energy field falls, we'll die. Ask if she has any solution," Cain said.

Slowpoke's eyes glowed with a faint blue light, and after understanding the message, Mismagius smiled with delight. Her eyes shone with a red light, and Slowpoke's energy field suddenly expanded.

Seeing the enlarged field, Slowpoke, exhausted, collapsed to the ground, breathing heavily.

Cain quickly pulled out some Pokéblocks from his storage to give to Slowpoke.

But just as he was about to feed him, the Pokéblocks vanished from his hands and suddenly appeared in front of Mismagius.

She controlled them with her psychic powers, making them float as she looked at them curiously, as if playing.

With no other choice, Cain took out more Pokéblocks and, taking advantage of Mismagius's distraction, gave them to Slowpoke.

If they wanted to escape, they'd need Slowpoke's Teleport move.

Of course, they would first have to deal with this Mismagius.

Cain felt overwhelmed.

"Um... Mismagius, can you use telepathy? Like what Slowpoke just did," Cain asked cautiously.

To help her understand, Slowpoke demonstrated.

After comprehending, Mismagius's eyes gleamed with a red flash.

In Cain's mind, a childlike voice appeared.

"What are you?"

"......"
