[Name] stood in the quiet training area, the air growing cooler as the last bits of sunlight faded away. They held an old scroll in their hands, the edges frayed and worn with age, and felt the weight of the powerful technique they were trying to master—Urano Metria. This was no ordinary spell. It was an attack passed down from their ancestor, Lucy Heartfilia, and it called upon the energy of the stars.
Standing beside them was Loke, watching closely, his arms crossed as he observed [Name] with a mix of pride and nostalgia. He had been summoned to help them learn this technique, guiding them through the steps and helping them control the complex technique that had once belonged to his cherished summoner, Lucy. Seeing [Name] working so hard brought back memories of Lucy, and he couldn't help but feel both sad and proud. In moments like these, the resemblance between [Name] and Lucy was clear, and it stirred something bittersweet in his heart.
To Loke, [Name] was Lucy's last legacy, a living reminder of the summoner he had once served loyally. He had slowly come to care deeply for [Name], almost as if they were part of his own family, and he wanted nothing more than to protect them. He knew he had to let the other Celestial Spirits know what was happening so they would be ready in case [Name] called on them. But for now, he stayed close, ready to support them however he could.
"All right, [Name]," Loke said gently, offering a small, encouraging smile. "Remember to let the energy flow through you naturally. Don't force it. Urano Metria is about connecting with the stars, not controlling them."
[Name] took a deep breath, nodding as they closed their eyes, focusing on the words of the incantation. Their voice was steady as they began to speak, each line carrying a sense of determination.
"Survey the Heavens, Open the Heavens...
All the stars, far and wide...
Show me thy appearance...
With such shine.
Oh Tetrabiblos...
I am the ruler of the stars...
Aspect become complete...
Open thy malevolent gate.
Oh 88 Stars of the heavens...
Shine!
Urano Metria!"A faint glow began to form around their hands with a magic like circle appearing beneath their feet, and for a moment, Loke's eyes widened with hope. But just as quickly as the light appeared, it flickered and faded, leaving [Name] standing there, breathless and drained.
"Almost had it," [Name] muttered, a bit frustrated as they tried to catch their breath.
Loke chuckled softly, though he could see the toll it was taking on them. "Don't be too hard on yourself. Urano Metria is a powerful spell. It's not something you can master in a day."
Despite his comforting words, [Name] clenched their fists, determination burning in their eyes. "I want to try again. I can feel it—I was so close that time."
Loke gave a small nod, watching as [Name] took another deep breath and said the incantation again. They recited each line with even more focus and intensity than before.
Once again, the light began to form around their hands and beneath their feet, and the cursed energy pulsed within them, stronger this time. Loke felt his heart leap as he watched, his mind flashing back to memories of Lucy performing the same technique with the same fierce determination. But just as the energy seemed to be reaching its peak, it slipped away, leaving [Name] gasping for breath, the light fading once more.
The exhaustion was obvious on their face as [Name] swayed slightly, catching themselves before they could fall. The energy drain was immense, and they were feeling the effects with each attempt.
"Damn it...," [Name] muttered under their breath, frustrated but still refusing to give up.
Loke stepped forward, placing a comforting hand on their shoulder. "You're doing well, [Name]. Really. Don't forget that this is a spell that requires a deep connection with the stars. You've got the heart for it, but it'll take time to get the technique just right."
