but I know the things he gives me (he can take away)

As Fushiguro stepped inside [Name]'s house, he was instantly wrapped in a warm, homey feeling. The place had a cozy vibe, with the smell of freshly baked cookies filling the air. It felt like a real family home, with worn shoes lined up on the rack near the door and family photos hanging on the walls. Each picture captured happy moments and memories, making the house feel even more welcoming. Fushiguro couldn't help but feel a small pang of envy for [Name]'s home life, though he reminded himself he would never trade his sister for anything.

"Please, use the guest slippers," [Name]'s voice brought him out of his thoughts. He looked down to see [Name] already wearing their own slippers, their shoes set neatly beside a pair he guessed belonged to their mom—feminine, small, and about Kugisaki's size.

Fushiguro and Kugisaki slipped into the guest slippers from the rack and followed [Name] down a hallway filled with family photos and simple, cozy decor. Every step deeper into the house made Fushiguro feel more comfortable, like he was walking into a place filled with warmth and love.

When they entered the dining room, Fushiguro noticed Junpei already sitting at the table, munching on a cookie from a platter set in the center. The platter was filled with different kinds of cookies, all arranged in a way that made them look extra tempting. Junpei looked up when he noticed them, giving [Name] a shy smile.

"Surprised to see you here, Junpei," [Name] said with a playful grin, raising an eyebrow as they reached over to grab a cookie from the platter. They didn't even need to ask—they could tell these were definitely their mom's cookies.

Meanwhile, Kugisaki and Fushiguro exchanged a silent, intense look. Both of them were eyeing the seat next to [Name], clearly wanting to be the one to sit beside them. They shared a look that was almost like a silent battle, each determined not to back down. Finally, they came to an unspoken agreement: they'd settle it with rock-paper-scissors.

"You ass," Kugisaki muttered through clenched teeth when their first round ended in a tie, both of them throwing rock. Her narrowed eyes showed she was not pleased.

Fushiguro rolled his eyes, his voice icy but low. "Again," he said, as if this was something he had to win. They went for another round, and this time, Fushiguro's scissors beat Kugisaki's paper. He looked more than a little smug as he took the seat next to [Name], practically glowing with satisfaction.

"Fuck you," Kugisaki muttered, flipping him off as she took the seat across from [Name], clearly annoyed. She made a big show of flipping her hair dramatically before resting her chin on her hand, giving Fushiguro a glare. Fushiguro, on the other hand, looked thrilled with his victory, while [Name] and Junpei chatted, mostly oblivious to the silent showdown that had just taken place.

Fushiguro settled into his seat, feeling quite satisfied with himself for winning the little battle over who would sit next to [Name]. Junpei, sitting comfortably on [Name]'s left, chuckled at the rivalry he'd just witnessed. Meanwhile, [Name] sat between them, clearly entertained by the silent competition between their friends. The table was set up so that it was easy to tell where [Name]'s parents would sit—[Name]'s dad at the head of the table, and their mom across from Fushiguro, which would put Kugisaki next to her.

Not one to let Fushiguro have all the attention, Kugisaki leaned forward, fixing her gaze on Junpei with a look that could only be described as... intense. She rested her chin on her hand, pretending to be casual, but her sharp eyes gave her away. She was clearly checking Junpei out, trying to size him up.

"So... you're friends with [Name], huh?" she asked, raising an eyebrow as she looked him over, her tone light but with an underlying sense of judgment.

Junpei shifted under her stare, swallowing his mouthful of cookie and nodding. He tried to act calm, though her gaze was a little intimidating. "Uh, yeah," he replied with a small, slightly nervous smile. "We met... well, it's kind of a long story."
