[Name] sprinted alongside Fushiguro to their left, Loke at their right, their determination etched onto their face. They couldn't help but think back to the moment when Itadori had convinced them to take Fushiguro and Kugisaki and escape the domain. Only to leave him behind to deal with the special grade. Kami, they hope he survives.
"Itadori, are you okay?!" [Name] called out urgently, their worry for their friend evident in their voice as they noticed him clutching his chest in agony. In a swift move, Loke lunged forward and delivered a powerful punch, sending the cursed spirit reeling away from the group with a fist made of radiant light.
"I-I'm fine!" Itadori responded with a trembling smile, attempting to reassure [Name], even though Fushiguro looked at him with clear concern. "Listen, [Last Name]! I need you to get Kugisaki, and take Fushiguro with you. Get out of here!"
[Name] stared at Itadori, aghast and frustrated by his words. "What the hell are you saying!? I've already told you, Loke and I can handle this. You two need to get Kugisaki and get out of here!"
Itadori adopted a pleading expression. "Please! I'll keep this bastard occupied until you guys make it out." He turned to Fushiguro. "As soon as you get out, Fushiguro, send some kind of signal. Once I receive it, I'll switch with Sukuna."
[Name] vigorously shook their head, disbelief, and anger in their eyes. They couldn't bear to leave a friend behind like this. Itadori's plan felt like suicide, a reckless gamble. How could he be so sure he would survive long enough for the three of them to escape the domain? It felt like he was signing his death warrant either way. [Name] believed that they had a better chance of escaping this ordeal with injuries, but at least everyone would survive.
"You're asking to die, you idiot!" [Name] yelled at Itadori, their voice brimming with anger. Loke gently grasped their arm, a silent gesture of support. Meanwhile, the special-grade cursed spirit observed the situation with an almost theatrical flair, its hand dramatically covering its mouth.
Itadori flinched at their outburst, but his determination remained firm. "I have a curse inside me," he pointed to his chest, "and that might give me a better chance of surviving this. Don't forget, you're still a new Jujutsu Sorcerer. You may be stronger, but experience matters too!"
[Name] took a step back, struck by Itadori's words. The truth stung – they were indeed a newbie, having barely spent a month as a sorcerer. The realization weighed heavily on their shoulders.
Their eyes darted to Fushiguro, searching for any signs of disagreement, but the reluctance etched on his face confirmed his support for Itadori's decision.
"Fine!" [Name] shouted, jabbing a finger in Itadori's direction. "If you die out there, I'll find a way to bring you back and kick your ass myself. Got it!?"
Itadori winced, fully comprehending the unwavering determination in their eyes, understanding that they meant every word. He wouldn't be surprised if they really did figure out a way to bring him back if he died, which he doesn't plan to do.
"Don't worry. It's having a blast. It's completely underestimating us," Itadori muttered to his teammates as the curse indulged in bizarre dance-like movements, seemingly carefree. "Stalling it for you two shouldn't be too tough."
"Still..." Fushiguro's voice trailed off, his gaze averted, clearly uncertain about the situation.
"Fushiguro!" Itadori placed his hands on the black-haired teen's shoulders, looking straight into his eyes. His determination was evident, and it almost made Fushiguro flinch as he noticed the mixture of determination and fear in Itadori's eyes. "Please. You need to do this."
