The Party.

*Devon texts Gerald*
Devon:Hey!
Gerald:Hey what's up?
Devon:Oh nothing much um I was wondering if you could come to this party for Steven it's for him landing this huge company in Japan and a bunch of his friends are gonna be there and none of mine so I wanted you to come what do you think? :)
Gerald:Ugh do I have to? Jk I'll come thanks for the invite!
Devon:Great it'll be at a hotel I'll text you the address when I get it.
Gerald: cool see you later :)

Devon's P.O.V:
Thank god Gerald decided to come. Because to be honest Stevens great but but he really loves his work and I get that sometimes you really want something and you work your ass off for it but sometimes that interferes with your personal life. And Stevens work really interferes with his personal life. But I know he tries his best and that's what matters. Is that he tries.

God I can't figure out what to wear! My white dress or... my navy. Whatever I'll just wear my white one I feel comfortable in that color anyway.

*Phone buzzes*
Gerald: Hey should I wear a suit or my leather jacket?
Devon:Ummm leather jacket I like that on you :)
Gerald:Thanks! And what are you gonna wear?
Devon: it's a surprise lol
Gerald:Haha alright then see you soon bye
Devon:Bye see you later:)
I love it when he wears his leather jacket he can really pull them off. I also like them on myself but I don't think I'll wear mine today... to this party anyway. I don't want Steven thinking I'm not trying by wearing something I would wear any day.

Gerald's P.O.V
Awesome I'm doing to see Devon tonight. Even though I see her a lot I still love hanging out with her. There's just this thing about her, it's amazing. And what's also amazing is the way I feel when I'm around her. God I went from groupies to I think I'm in love. But that's good because no groupie can make me feel this way.
*Party stated and Gerald arrives*
"Hey you finally made it!" Devon says.
"Yeah" I said with a chuckle.
"I feel like everyone here is judging me for some reason."
"Why?" I ask.
"I don't know" she says quietly.
"Well you don't need to worry about it anymore, I'm here now"
"And I'm glad you are. wanna go get a drink?" She asks
"Yeah sure" I say

Devon's P.O.V
We drank our beers and talked about music we both enjoy talking about music it's sort of our thing.
*Steven comes over* "Hey how is everything so far?" I ask
"Hey Gerald and it's going good" he says.
"I'm glad, wanna join for a drink?" I say "No thanks uh I gotta get back but thanks Gerald for keeping her company."
"No need to thank me." Gerald says. Steven gives me a kiss then goes back.
I don't take my eyes off of Steven until Gerald asks "Are you okay? you look disappointed."
"Its nothing." I say.
"Come on you can tell me." he says.
"Well sometimes I feel like Steven loves his work more then he loves me." I say.
"I'm sure that's not true." he says.
I don't know, I don't want to seem too needy." I say.
"You're not, you won't even be asking much much." he says.
"I guess not. But I don't want to be at this party anymore." I say.
"They have a pool wanna sit out there instead?" He asks
"As long as I get out of here for a while."
