"Your room's here, next to Miranda's." Lenalee said, pointing to a door. "Don't worry, she's very nice. You remember where the cafeteria, bath house, and restroom is, right?"
"Y-Yeah.." I replied, distracted.
"What's wrong?" Lenalee asked, confused.
I averted my eyes. "All I have is money and a couple of rocks."
Lenalee smiled. "Don't worry, everything you need is inside. See you during breakfast tomorrow!" She waved. I smiled weakly.
"Right..." I turned the doorknob and pushed the door open.
The room was fairly large, despite the wallpaper being black. A large bed was wedged in the corner on the right, accompanied with a nightstand with a lamp on top.
On the opposite side of the bed was a desk made of dark wood, and two cabinets side by side. A small chair was tucked under the desk and another lamp was on top of the wooden surface.
I took off my jacket and threw it on the bed. The large glass window in the front reflected the silver moonlight from outside.
Hey Alice, why did you reveal yourself to Komui? I really didn't want him to know so much about my personal life.
Sorry Y/N, I just got a little carried away... Alice replied. I frowned. Besides, is it really that bad that Komui know? Isn't it better if he knows more about you so that he can figure out your Innocence?
It is if I'm planning to stay here. I snapped. Alice quickly went quiet and I instantly felt guilty. I'm sorry Alice. I shouldn't have snapped at you.
My Innocence sighed. No, you're right Y/N. You probably didn't want to get too involved with the Black Order.
Maybe... We can stay a little longer.. I quickly replied, trying to lift her mood. I understood her longing for other Accommodators to talk to, and it would be selfish for me to stop her.
You sure? Alice didn't sound as if she believed me.
After all, I still have to find Deak. I replied as convincing as I could.
That's right. Alice quickly brightened up. And you have to get back at Kanda.
Ugh, don't remind me.
Alice giggled. Well, at least she's in a better mood. I thought quietly to myself.
Get some sleep, Y/N. I can't wait to decorate the room and meet everyone tomorrow.
Excited much? I teased. I placed my rocks and the pouch of money on the desk. My fingers traced the carvings on one of the rocks at Brother's place. He had a cherry tree carved on a black obsidian rock. It was pretty, but I liked the one with the snake. I smiled at thought that Brother remembered my favorite animal.
"It's not really that I'm excited. I'm just interested. I want you to relax so that you won't strain your body." Alice said.
"But I want to beat the crap out of Deak." I whined. "I don't regret erasing his memories of me."
"I'm sure you aren't. We'll just see tomorrow." Alice laughed. I grinned.
"Oh Y/N, I almost forgot." Alice's voice was full of excitement.
"What is it Alice?"
"Let me show you your new appearance. I'm sure you've been dying to see the new changes."
I froze. That's right, I completely forgot about that. I frowned slightly. Would I be still recognizable?
I was brought to the same red and pink world. The lights were pretty, and I found myself confused as to why I was brought here. Alice was in her red dress, smiling.
Slowly, her appearance changed. The green strip in her hair slowly turned into a bright shade of red, and her skin was a little lighter, as if that was possible. Her hair became shorter; it was waist length.
Alice's dress morphed into my familiar clothing- dark red shirt and black pants. "Is this me Alice?" I asked softly.
"It sure is." She giggled.
My eyes slowly traveled to my face, and when I caught sight of my eyes I froze. They weren't the same hazel color. I had two different, very distinct eye colors; the right eye was scarlet, and the left eye was gold-orange. There distinctive ring of bright orange around the pupil.
I looked fierce and different. Different from the lonely girl I once knew. Different from the crying girl at the pond at sunset for her brother.
"It's wonderful, isn't it." Alice said in awe.
The light slowly disappeared, and I was brought back to reality. My eyes slightly stung, although I didn't know why. "I could get use to the new form." I cracked a smile.
Alice laughed.
