A few weeks have gone by now and life's almost normal again....almost Tommy and you started sharing the same bed again after you healed up from the stab wound, but you feel bad for him since your constantly waking him up in the middle of the night with your night terrors.
You keep having the same dream over and over again of being in the house the intruders and the only difference is Tommy is the one that gets stabbed not you and every time you walk in on it happening you scream right as you scream you wake up , Tommy comforts you as you wipe away tears and sweat from your face with the back of your hand.
Before the wedding you and Thomas wanted to get a place of your own here of course but just so you had more privacy, so the two of you decided on one of the houses closest to Ludas it was a abandoned by the neighbours when the town became more run down and it was perfect well... it was gonna be perfect after Tommy and you put the finishing touches on it. Like fresh paint and fixing up the old furniture ect
"Maybe another two weeks and it'll be perfect huh" you say walking to Tommy as he nods his head in agreement
"Omg!" The sudden recollection dawns on you "I forgot about the bags from the store they're still in the back of the truck!!" You tell Tommy as you run back to Ludas you soon to be husband follows after you he's surprisingly fast.
"(Y/n) what on earth are you running for?" She questions half worried half amused
"Just wait inside and I'll be right there"you tell her running out to the truck to get the gifts.
Tommy tried to help you but you told him that you're fine he's always trying to be a gentleman.
"Ok let's call everyone in here" you say happily
After nubbins came into the kitchen you started handing out the gifts starting with Luda
"This one's for you mama" you say passing her the box
"Oh why thank you hun but you didn't have to" she said with a smile as she began to open it.
"Oh my heavens?!!!!" She exclaimed excitedly holding the tea cup "it's beautiful thank you truly"
"There's more in the ma" nubbins says as he's standing beside her and can see into it, she begins to pull out the tea pot and the tiny cake plates "wow" her smile never falls and you can see the gratitude in her eyes.
"Ok then next up is..ah Hoyt" you say handing him the new pack of smokes and a lighter, his eyes light up as he didn't expect you to get him something "thank ya" he says opening it
"And Monty" you hand him the whiskey
"Wow thanks"
"This is what I got before" nubbins says holding up his knife proudly
Everyone is enjoying their gifs and Tommy is smiling so you walk up beside him and whisper "and your got my love is coming soon" you say and kiss his cheek.
"Now babe we have to do something hard" you again whisper to Tommy, he turns to you confused and waiting for you to continue "we have to tell your mum we're moving out"
He turns to you and shakes his head no
You give him a look and whisper "babes she's your mama" and he just accepts it and walks to his room to get the notepad and pencil
While you wait for him to come back you go to luda "mama?" You ask nervous
"Yes hun" she says a smile still plastered onto her face
" could we talk, once Tommy comes back" she nods her head and tells the boys to get out so you, Tommy and her can have the kitchen to talk. You sit down when you hear Tommy's heavy steps coming down the stairs, once he walks into the kitchen he sits next to you and places the notepad on the table and waits for you to start the conversation
"Well mama, me and Tommy have decided on something"
She looks at you her face covered in fear "you didn't break up did ya?!" She asked
Stunned you let out a quick laugh "ohh no mama nothing like that. Trust me you can't get rid of me that easily"
Once you said that her whole demeanour relaxed "then what is it?"
She asks causing Tommy to shift uncomfortable, you squeeze his hand and motion to his note pad telling him to go ahead.
He dose as told and starts scribbling down on the pad while you hold his other hand. After a few minutes he puts the pad down and turns it towards his mum in waiting, she picks it up reading carefully. The both of you hold your breath as she reads it over.
"Ohh of course!!" She exclaims causing you and Tommy to jump slightly. You grab the notepad wanting to see what Tommy wrote
"(Y/N) and me waNt a house of OUr own" is all it said, you look at Luda waiting for her to talk again
"I mean I was wondering when you guys would move out, I mean your gonna be married and married folk need privacy. And how am I to have grand baby's if theirs no privacy between you to!!" She say happily causing you and Tommy to look at her then each other
"Well mama I think we ought to get married first!" You laugh giving her a big smile while Tommy goes over to her and hugs her excitement bubbles in both of you already.
"You two better still visit me once your all moved out tho"
"Of course we'll be here more than our own house I'm sure" you say walking over to her as she stands to give the both of you a hug.
I'm so lucky you think as your two favourite people embrace you
