Maybe this trip would be fun after all~

~Time skip~
You guys had driven all day and it was getting later into the afternoon and to be honest kind chilly considering it was Texas you thought it was funny. You shifted a bit on the blanket wrapping your arms around yourself to keep warm.
"Here silly" jasper said wrapping the blanket he had on, around the both of you it was a big blanket but you moved closer anyway jasper didn't back away instead he place a arm over your shoulder, you in turn  leaned in and laid on his chest. Surprised at your actions jasper let a small gasp out barely audible but he hugged you tight in his arms it all felt like a dream you felt so safe in his arms, you closed your eyes as that had gotten heavy from all the stress and excitement of the day you fell asleep the bouncing and bumping of the truck felt like you were being rocked it soothed you and only made you fall asleep faster.

When you finally fluttered your eyes open jasper was asleep still holding onto you , and as if in a movie he opened his eyes seconds later to see you staring at him which made your eyes dart away he only smiled not saying anything until "shit" you hear Alex say as the truck comes to a stop you turn around and notice Jesica in the passenger he must have switched with her to give her a break.
" what's wrong ?" Jesica asks
" tanks almost empty , hadn't even realized until now"
Jesica pulls out the old map she had brought with her that her parents gave her ( it was homemade one her uncle gave to his brother when the family came to visit last time since they had gotten lost) "hmm says here there should be a gas station a mile up we should be good until than"
"Phew that's good" you say sitting all the way up jasper dose the same removing his arm from around you, you look at him a little sad he moved but almost like he had read your mind he slips his hand into yours and interlaces his fingers with yours. You didn't need any convincing as you wrap your hand around his, a stupid smile plastered to both of your faces.

When you guys finally made it to the old gas station you noticed how run down it looked , like it had been abandoned. jasper hopped out of the back and offered a hand to you , you gradually took it climbing down after your feet hit the ground he stood there a second your hand still in his before going to help Alex fill up the truck , while they were doing that you and Jesica went in for some snacks and refreshments. The shelves looked old are worn but looks like all of the "foods" and "drinks" were freshly replaced since the shelves were dusty but all of the other stuff didn't have a spec of dirt or dust. You went to the drinks first and grabbed a (favourite/drink) than searched the snacks until you found (favourite/snack) you walked to the counter with your goodies while Jesica debated on a Pepsi or Dr Pepper.
