He hugged you and pulled you up into his arms as he swung you around the room, this man clearly has a thing for spinning you when he was happy. When he sat you down he grabbed some paper writing on it then handing it to you it read " I lOve you y/N"

You left his room after that overwhelmed since you just talked to him for the first time in the last few weeks and honestly you were on cloud nine you felt alive and you actually wanted to be apart of this crazy family now.

When you get downstairs Luda is making breakfast eggs and some other left overs, you quickly go over and help her.

" how are ya feeling y/n?" She asked you hadn't realized you didn't acknowledge her when you came down.
"Honestly mama I'm , I'm happy" you say a genuine smile plastered to your face as she hugged you.
You stirred the eggs as she set the table

"Hey lu-i mean mama sorry haha I'm still getting used to calling someone that again, um do we have any coffee?"

"I think we just ran out but their might be some at the gas station if you and Tommy wanna go later" she chirps

"Boys breakfast" you call at the foot of the stairs, no longer than a minute and they are all at the table with Tommy sitting next to you of course but before he sits down he goes to the kitchen with Luda and you can hear Luda's hushed Voice as she hands Tommy something you can't quite make out but you think nothing of it as you chucked a little bit at these men who don't play when it comes to food.

Nubbins basically bounces in his seat until Hoyt hits him with the end of his newspaper.

"Well before we dig in I'd like to say a few things" Luda chimes in as she sits
"Y/n I'm so very proud of you for sticking by us even when things gotten hard and , y/n?" She adds a question to the end of it sounding weary
"Yes?" You reply
" you're it"
You look at her with questioning eyes
"I'm what?"
"What we needed" she say with a knowing smile
You smile back at her and dig into your meal letting yourself enjoy it but cant help feeling a sort of unease come onto you, but you push it away and watch everyone eat. Hoyt eats a few bites in between pages of his newspaper, Luda cuts up every piece before eating it even the eggs, nubbins stuffs his face like a wild animal in between feeding Monty little pieces, and finally Thomas, he also eats slow and cuts his food I mean he has to, to fit it into his mouth through the mask, and damn it his senses are always on point as he feels your eyes and looks up at you.

You in return give him a small smile and he returns it when he does your stomach dose a flip. Since you guys talked it's like the first time you met the giddiness you feel is almost unbearable but you mask it well.

When everyone finishes you start grabbing plates but Tommy stops you by placing a hand on your holder and Luda grabs the plates you're carrying and what? She fucking winks at you ok wtf is going on you think. The other boys just smile at you ok now this is really getting strange, your pulled out of your thoughts by Tommy's string arms ushering you to the front door?

You follow him as his puts on his boots and a jacket and do the same then he's grabs your hand he talk leading you outside , your nervous more than usual mostly because of what's to come and that you can't tell what Tommy's feeling .

He walks you to a field? No a clearing yes the same one you hid in and killed that rabbit the last time you escaped or tried to.  He led you through the tall grass some of them tickling your face as you brush past.
You walk for maybe five or six minutes until finally the grass parts and your faced with an empty spot of land Tommy leads you to a blanket on the ground and a basket? This damn hopeless romantic made us a picnic  you think as you both sit down , he pulls two glasses out and hands one to you than grabs a bottle of champagne? Lmfao they don't have coffee but they have champagne you think.

He pops the bottle and pours the both of you a healthy portion than grabs out a mini cake with red writing on it but you don't have time to read it as he sets it aside and inches closer to you you put down your glass and look at him
